"Considering all factors, including value for money, this hotel is relatively satisfying among options in the area. Both the service and facilities are quite good.
Prices in South Korea are generally higher than in China, and since I was traveling, my expectations weren't very high.
If you're not overly strict about your hotel experience, this place is a good choice. It's also convenient for getting to Yeouido, though it's a bit far from the city center of South Korea.

"First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice."

"I’m definitely planning to return to the JK Blossom Hotel! I ended up staying longer than I originally intended. I really appreciate the room space and the complimentary massage chair—perfect for those long-distance walking adventures. Plus, the park right next to the hotel is a highlight. If you enjoy walking in nature and a bit of mini hiking, you’re in luck! It’s not too far, and there’s even a mini gym in the center, which I was quite surprised to find. The only minor drawback is its location a bit far from the subway station, but you can easily catch a bus to get there. The rooms are lovely and spotless, though you might hear some sounds from the hallway and the toilet next door. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and I feel like you’ll find everything you need here. The staff are also incredibly friendly and pleasant."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway and bus stops. You can easily walk to the Hanok village near Changdeokgung Palace, and Gwangjang Market is also very nearby. At the eastern end of the market, there are fruit shops, so you can really indulge in fresh fruit. Downstairs, there's a supermarket that seems to be open all the time, so no matter how late you come back, you can always find something to buy. We were given a room facing north, which offered fantastic views of the mountains and the palace. The bed in the room was large, and there were no strange odors, making it perfect for a family trip."

The front desk staff, as others have mentioned, weren't overly friendly, but they were efficient and provided standard, satisfactory service. I suppose they just aren't the smiling type, which is no big deal. Overall, everything was quite good, and I recommend staying here."

AichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

nfishThe hotel is located right in the heart of Myeongdong, very close to Euljiro subway station. With many restaurants nearby, the location is incredibly convenient. I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on my check-in day, so I went up to the 3rd floor via the elevator and found a card key with my name on it at the counter. I believe if I had gone to the counter the next day, they would have told me my room number, but I was short on time and just continued using the card key, which wasn't inconvenient at all. The room didn't have enough space to fully open a large suitcase without blocking the aisle, but since I was traveling alone, it wasn't a major issue. The mirror and light were very handy for doing makeup. The sink, shower, and toilet were all in one area, but it was clean and easy to use. The water pressure in the shower was also good. I could catch a glimpse of the Myeongdong cityscape from the window. There were plenty of outlets, so as long as you have a plug adapter and a voltage converter, you should be fine. Towels were provided in the room, and extra ones were available in the hallway, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. Although it was a non-smoking room, there was a smoking area very close to the hotel, which made it tolerable. I would definitely consider staying here again for a solo trip! Thank you.

1. Breakfast was disappointing; there wasn't much protein, and even the noodle soup had no meat. I stayed for four nights, and by the first day, I seriously considered changing hotels because of the breakfast.
2. The room had a fridge and slippers, but no comb, toothbrush, or toothpaste. You'll need to bring your own.
3. AK Plaza isn't a great mall; there's not much to buy.
4. There weren't enough outlets by the bed and desk. I recommend bringing a power strip if you have multiple devices to charge.

The washer in the room is so convenient. It’s a little much to drag your luggage from check in to building B, but it’s still worth it. I’d definitely stay here again.

Guest UserSo happy! Had a very comfortable stay. The deposit was 50,000 KRW. The front desk staff was really helpful; I asked him to wash and dry my clothes, which cost 10,000 KRW. I didn't manage to wake up for breakfast, so I didn't have any. The room was big enough for one person to sleep comfortably, and the location is excellent! There's a 24-hour soup and rice place downstairs! The only downside is that the subway station is a bit of a walk, about 10+ minutes, but you can get to popular spots in just a few minutes.

The room is small and a little boring but you’re paying for the location, and it’s comfortable and clean. There’s a good beer bar, Seoulista, on the ground floor. There’s is an aerial walkway connected, which goes to Seoul Station. You can also use the metro Exit 7 (I think) but it will charge you just for walking through if you are coming from the AirPort Express. The breakfast arrangements are quite eccentric, but I had a good breakfast.

EddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.

I had a good stay overall. We booked a room for two people, and it was a good size for us. The room was about 3.5/5 for cleanliness—generally clean, but there was still some room for improvement.
The hotel offers free breakfast, which was a nice bonus. Everything is self-service, including check-in and breakfast. We never met any staff because we spent most of the day exploring Seoul, but the self-check-in process was smooth and convenient.
Overall, I think it was worth the money and a good choice for budget travelers. If you’re coming from Seoul Station, I recommend taking the subway rather than the bus—it’s the easiest and most convenient way to get to the hotel.
