This hotel has had its best days. It was definitely number 1 in the city... 40 years ago. They try to keep everything in order but everything is worn out. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

The service at restaurant was very poor , and waitress are unfreindly , no one can check on you when you are eating just to ask you if you need anything . when i needed anything i had to go to them instead of them to come to me. And if you speak english , it wil be hard to you to get something to eat , but you can eat their preference because what you like will be hard to explain in french that you don't even know.

- excellent breakfast of international standard and expertly supervised by Mr Levy who will go out of his way to satisfy you - spacious room with very comfortable bedding - well-stocked gym (missing air conditioning, however) - very nice swimming pool - Host accessible, convenient and within reasonable distance from the center of brazza. Despite the proximity of the airport, no noise pollution in the rooms (the insulation of which is also notable).

We cannot be and have been…. This often applies to these African hotels which proudly display 5 stars. The stars have faded and are nothing more than a pale reflection of their past splendor. The PEFACO Maya Maya is no exception to this rule. Dated rooms, noisy, very average service, breakfast at the level of an Ibis Vert, well no need for more details. The only advantage is that it's in front of the airport so if it's for a short night it might work if you only need a shower and towels with holes in them are part of cultural folklore . So avoid this hotel if possible, in Africa today the only safe bet is the Raddisson blue... The rest are just to be added to the long list of African disillusionments.
