Truly quiet night and the room was all clean and intact. Breakfast was of excellent choice, fresh and very good quality. The hotel has an open pub on the ground floor accessible from the street and receptionist works also as a bar tender or the other way round. Very polite service. No issues with the parking on the hotel’s courtyard.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to Centrum; we were able to park in garage across street for discounted rate of 7 euro/24 hours. The room was totally renovated, with new ”wood” vinyl plank floors, king bed/mattress, but still had 16 foot ceilings (made me wonder what it looked like 20 years ago); elegant staircase going up, but there is also an elevator. Mini fridge had everything you wanted, but we were also able to take out beers on top shelf and put in a bottle of our wine. We brought our doxie along, and the hotel is very pet-friendly. I am glad we stayed here v. Best Western (which is in a bit of a ”seedy area”). The breakfast was delicious which included hot scrambled eggs...can't say enough about the hotel.

I give this hotel chain the lowest score ! We arrived at the Agoda Hotel ”Centro Hotel Celler Tor” in Braunschweig, Germany on March 7 at 23:00 p.m. at Yagodin (Ukraine / Poland) border with my wife and gender in 2 cars, we were embarked on my family The receptionist welcomed us with the circumstances of the smile, offered 3 rooms for €256. For the same choice on the hotel's website the price was €216. The receptionist therefore advised us to book online. Thing is done with online payment. All was ok. It is just the time to give us the chamber keys that he asks for a vaccination certificate. I explain to him that the French have a vaccine pass on their phone, but that in the hurry of departure my Ukrainian family will not be able to present it. This gentleman, apparently uninformed about the dramatic situation in Ukraine, has only complied with the regulation of the German hotel chain, he has categorically explained us to leave. No humanist from his side, a 3-month baby and a 80-year-old grandmother left him completely unturbable. After much insistence, we were in the street, and then on a motorway area to ”sleep” at 10 in 2 cars. The hotel has been very close to the hotel and the hotel has been very close to the hotel. One night in the car for a Babouchka, a 3-month baby, 1 2.5-year-old child and another 6-year-old child, at a temperature of -1°, for €216, no refund possible!... is the Agoda hospitality .... in Braunschweig in Germany! Fuck!!!!

We already reserved a hotel room for one night at the above branch through the official website on the day of July 06, 2020 and arrived there on July 09, 2020 at around 9:30 a.m. to check in and at least drop off our luggage and find out about the to inform the city. However, the receptionist informed us that she could neither check us in nor accept our luggage, let alone use the toilet in front of the reception. According to her statement, we have to understand that all this is due to the limited opening hours, which however were not mentioned anywhere on the website and booking confirmation of the above hotel. She confirmed this missing information (as of 10:00 on the same day). We were therefore in vain on the way from Braunschweig's main train station to the hotel and had to lose time and travel costs unnecessarily. The receptionist mentioned also said that we had only reserved the room but not yet paid the fee and that the reservation was only valid from 2 p.m. Therefore, we would not yet be hotel guests and would not officially have permission to stay in the entrance area and check-in would also only be possible at 2 p.m. So we didn't get a city map - until we asked them for this - nor did we get any further, alternative information about our extremely helpless situation and information about where authentic restaurants in the city are located. We understand that the Corona pandemic will result in some changes in hotel operations; however, we would have wished, as a guest in the B&B hotel, to experience more understanding, courtesy and hospitality on our trip, as we already knew from another B&B branch in Göttingen, for example.

Haben das Hotel auf unserer Durchreise gewählt u.a. Wegen der Nähe zur Autobahn. Hiervon ist auch nichts zu hören. Aber die Zimmer selber sind sehr hellhörig. Hatten eine laute Familie neben uns und das Quietschen der Metalltüren auf der Empore zur Kindersicherung hört man Zimmer weiter. Warum lässt man nicht jedes 2. Zimmer aktuell frei, wenn die Belegung eh sehr gering ist? Betten sind auch schon etwas durchgelegen und das Desinfektionsmittel hinterlässt keinen angenehmen Geruch in den Zimmern. Personal ist kaum anzutreffen, wie ausgestorben. Self Check in mit Code für die Türe gewünscht. Leider können wir das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Hotel is in good condition, personal is reachable on any time. Parking lots are more than needed avaiable, Bus and Train station are 5min away. City of Braunschweig is reachable in 10min by Bus, Train oder car.

Nice hotel, decoration related to the car. Very friendly welcome, GORGEOUS: There was lime or orange water from dispensers in the entrance area. The entire hotel clean and tidy. The 3 bed room was wonderful in size. It was very quiet in the room. The curtains have darkened well. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. Aldi is behind the hotel in the pedestrian zone. We really liked it. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Wolfsburg.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was nice too. Our baggage was delayed and we were able to get toothbrushes from reception. It is a few minutes walk from the train station and city centre. Autostadt and the Volkswagen Arena are about 15-20 minutes walk. The only downside was the decor was a little dated.

Already at arrival we were met by 100 % service by a smiling and friendly receptionist who professionally helped us to check in. On request we asked for an extra duvet and this was delivered immediately. The underground garage was large and with enough space. Compared to how big the hotel is, we wondered about how small the breakfast space is. And no one was available at the omelette desk, but it was not a problem for us. I can fully recommend this hotel

Ich habe heute einen Weber-Grill-Kurs „Unser Original“ im Hotel an der Wasserburg in Wolfsburg besucht. Unser Grillmeister Daniel hat uns mit vielen Gerichten, die alle ausschließlich auf einem Weber Grill zubereitet wurden, überrascht. Zur Verfügung standen mehrere Grill-Varianten von Weber ob mit Gas oder Kohle. Wir durften bei der Vorbereitung der Gerichte mithelfen und bei der Zubereitung hat uns Daniel die richtige Handhabung der Grills ausführlich erklärt. Wir waren begeistert, dass soviel auf einem Grill zubereitet werden kann. Von der Vorspeise über Hauptgerichte bis hin zum Dessert, alles ist mit einem Grill möglich. Daniel selber hat mit seiner sehr freundlichen und witzigen Art und seinem Wissen gepunktet. Es gab viele Informationen und wertvolle Tipps, man muss wissen, dass Daniel gelernter Koch ist. Rundum waren es schöne Stunden in einer netten Runde und ich kann diesen Kurs nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Sonntag.
