"Chateau was truly worthy of its reputation. While Beijing was experiencing a scorching 40℃ (104°F) heatwave in August, our family arrived at the famous summer retreat. The moment we stepped out of the car, the 20℃ (68°F) temperature immediately affirmed that our travel choice was spot on. Since we'd be taking a high-speed train later, we opted for the newly opened Hampton by Hilton, which is very close to the high-speed rail station. The hotel even offered complimentary shuttle service, which significantly boosted my impression. The hotel staff were enthusiastic, and the service personnel always greeted us with a smile. It was great value for money; we came with high expectations and left just as pleased, with absolutely no regrets. Worth it! Beautiful Xining, I believe I will visit again!"

"After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!"

"Hilton's quality is consistently reliable. The rooms come standard with humidifiers, perfect for the dry高原 climate. There's 24-hour laundry (washer and dryer in one). Breakfast includes yak yogurt and ga mian pian (local noodles). It's super convenient for visiting Ta'er Monastery and Qinghai Lake. Located on a main thoroughfare in Chengdong District, parking is free and ample. Upon check-in, they offer hot ginger tea to help with altitude sickness. The bedding is soft and the soundproofing is excellent. It's a top choice for a rest stop on a road trip."

It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review. Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice. Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly. Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring. Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated. Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. The hotel seems a bit old, with dated facilities and a small bathroom. On the other hand, the service was quite good; as a member, I even received a complimentary executive afternoon tea."

"On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The room was clean and spacious, and the shower had good water pressure. We were on a family trip, and Fizz, one of the hotel's managers, was very thoughtful and gave us a complimentary breakfast. The robot delivery for water and food was also super fast. The location is convenient too. I initially only booked one night, planning to compare with the Hilton before booking the rest of our stay, but I was so happy with this hotel that I went ahead and booked two more nights!"

"The independent air conditioning, not central, was great. The inward-opening window with a screen was perfect for keeping out bugs. The automatic toilet didn't splash, which was also a plus. However, the duvet was way too thick! Considering it's summer, the duvet thickness should be adjusted for different seasons; a summer comforter would be much better. Otherwise, I literally woke up sweating in the middle of the night!"

"Quite a peculiar experience. On the first day, we were told there were gas repairs and hot water would only be available from 6 PM. However, by midnight, there was still no hot water. After a tiring day of travel, all we wanted was a hot shower, but it was impossible. To top it off, the pipe under the sink in our room was leaking. We had to switch rooms. We were too tired to bother moving again, so we just made do. Overall, it's pretty average, and the breakfast selection was a bit limited. I hope things improve in the future."

After visiting Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake, I returned to the city and was finally able to get a room this time. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. This hotel is conveniently located at the airport shuttle bus stop, offering excellent transportation. It's also next to Wanda Plaza, which means plenty of shopping and dining options, making life very convenient. The high-floor rooms offer a fantastic view; the city scenery is expansive during the day, and the night view is beautiful, making it perfect for resting and recharging after a trip. I will definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on my next visit to Xining."
