Guest UserThis Westin was a pleasant surprise on our trip. Boston's prices are high, especially on weekends, so most hotels were expensive. We settled on the Westin after weighing our options. Once we arrived, we found the location to be excellent, right on Copley Square, directly opposite the library and Trinity Church. It's just a few minutes' walk to the start of the Freedom Trail, and convenient for getting to the beautiful shopping streets and Chinatown. The room was spacious, simply furnished, and clean. The hotel restaurant also had good food, and the staff were very enthusiastic. When we checked out, they even called my daughter by her name to say goodbye. Highly recommended!

ZILIThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude.
There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel.
Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation.
In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much.

This is probably the oldest-looking Ritz Carlton that I have visited. It is just like a normal hotel. The location is great, but everything else just doesn't look like a Ritz-Carlton. You will feel this the moment you get of the car. However, it is Boston and everything is overpriced.

Guest UserFrom South Station to the hotel is closer than I thought only $25-35ish for Uber. For subway take 15 mind from the hotel to the station. The room is big and clean, the shuttle bus service is so good only take 10 mins or less if no traffic from hotel to airport.

The hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality.
However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests.
During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided.
What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages:
1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation,
2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and
3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification.
A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage.
Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant.
We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled.
Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay.
We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience

Anonymous UserHad such a wonderful experience here, we went on a little weekend getaway before our first baby comes, firstly they gave us a complimentary upgrade to our room, my honey and our friend enjoyed the bar drinks and were served their beverages in the timely manner, breakfast the next morning, the food was delightful and was brought directly to our room for us. Check in and out was made so easy with the kindest front desk attendants. The view from our room was incredible!
10 out of 10 will be staying here when we find ourselves in Boston again.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located right out of the building, across the bridge, and you'll find the JFK metro station. You can take the Red Line from there to Harvard, MIT, and downtown, which is really handy. There's a Star Market near the subway station, good for grabbing some food, though there aren't many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff, especially the sweet young lady from Guangzhou who wears glasses, was quite enthusiastic. The other Asian-looking staff, I'm not sure if they were Chinese, weren't as friendly, so I didn't get to chat with them. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, which is a great perk. The foreign drivers are also very friendly. I booked a pickup when I landed, and even though it was just me, they still came to get me, saving me a good few tens of dollars. The room was quite spacious, and you can get two cookies from the front desk every day. Overall, it was a good stay, but hotel prices in Boston are seriously expensive!

Guest UserI arrived at the hotel after 11 PM. I had specifically requested a room with a good view when I made the reservation, but the next morning, when I opened the curtains, all I saw was a wall. I was too lazy to change rooms, so I just made do for a few nights. One morning, there was a loud drilling noise at 9 AM that lasted on and off for about an hour. I contacted the front desk, and they just said they'd check on it, but the noise didn't stop, and I never received any follow-up. The room was also very small. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and it's connected to a large shopping mall, which is great for shopping and dining. Overall, it's okay, but the front desk service could use improvement.

Guest UserOne restaurant. Just had some breakfast there. A bit pricey, but it is a Hilton. The gym is 5 star. Not a typical hotel gym. This was a highlight. Rooms are fairly large. 2 bottles of water provided in room. Bathroom was large. And for
The price per night I paid via Trip.com , it was a bargain compared to other properties in the area. A short walk to Newbury St., and about a 15-20 walk to Fenway.
