The hotel has a beautiful modern reception, but on entering the room, I was disgusted. There is a big sign outside the room, saying no smoking, but there were cigarette burns in the carpet. The decor was very dated, like from the 50s. The mattress was so thin, it was so bad my friend checked for bed bugs. I paid £520 for 4 nights, and a hostel would have been better.

The attitude of the service staff was very bad. Even though I paid for breakfast for two people, they actually ran to the parking lot and stopped me to ask for breakfast money. They also spoke in a very bad manner.

I would like to thank the staff for looking after my elderly mum when she recently stayed there due to her home being flooded. The reception staff could not have been more helpful, especially Jodie , always talking to her and asking about her wellbeing and if they could do anything. In my opinion they went above and beyond so much so my mum did not want to leave. This was a stressful time for my mum and our family but the staff here made it much more bearable. Bar area was lovely and the food tasty.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.Thank you all

I went with a travel company, mainly older people and upon arrival there was no porterage. Our rooms were not cleaned or refreshed for the five days we were there. The meal times were not flexible and the service in the restaurant was abysmal. Not enough staff. One breakfast we waited 30 minutes before anyone took an order and over 40 minutes for tea and toast to arrive.The reason given was that they were busy, but as we were on a time schedule, it really was not satisfactory.

Went to an event night here with friends and family. 45 pounds for singer and 3 course meal. I don’t eat meat so was given ‘the vegetarian option’ an absolutely vile piece of undercooked pastry with carrots and broccoli inside, served with a side of carrots and broccoli sprinkled with some raw cabbage (I kid you not). My dog will eat anything but he wouldn’t have eaten it either. Utterly horrible. Singer was ok but not the one advertised.

We had our wedding on the 5th October in the Park Suite at the Park Hotel. All the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The Park Suite looked fantastic on our wedding day the way it was decorated. The food was excellent and the bridal suite was amazing. The DJ did an incredible job and played a wide variety of music. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we would like to personally thank the staff for helping to make it such a magical day for us

Nice staff and good food but stay ruined by the mattress used which was too thin and had springs that cut into our backs. Neither myself nor my wife had a good nights sleep and she has had a bad back since our visit. We complained to reception the next morning and were told that the manager would be informed and they would be in touch with me but I am still waiting a week after my visit.

Special mention to Cathy who had to endure a very rude & arrogant customer. A lesser professional would have snapped. Very composed. Thank to all for a very pleasant trip. I am sure to stay again........................................
