Can’t say enough about the staff. They handled us being stuck in their hotel through hurricane Helene like a champ. Amazing staff that cared for us during a stressful situation. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough. When we had no water they still provided us a wonderful breakfast and snacks for lunch. Not sure others can say that during a crisis situation. This staff was outstanding caring for everyone.

Being in Boone in the midst of Helene was challenging in itself. The staff here at la Quinta 5 stars. They went out of their way to make everyone as comfortable as possible , providing food/snacks/drinks, giving updates. A huge shout out to Justin who worked the kitchen! He came in at the beginning of the stormy weather, worried people wouldn't have breakfast if he didn’t go. He actually got stuck there, and used every resource he could to continue providing food/drinks.. he actually melted ice, boiled it so he could use that for cooking when the water was out. Worried about his family at home to boot. This guy goes above and beyond! Hope you made it home safely, Justin!!

The room was very clean. The water pressure and the temperature of the shower was amazing. The complementary breakfast was one of the best we've had in a long time. The beds were also very comfortable. The location was good as well. Some dislikes and issues were, The location of the ice machine, also there was a small issue with the bathtub in our room, it seemed to make a lot of noise inside of it when someone was showering. Also the mini fridge seemed to not work properly. The temperature in the hallway of our room was pretty warm compared to the temperature inside of room. The elevator might need updating as well.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Nice seat up. Bed was adequate. Sheets weren’t the best. Shower head was leaking. We reported it on the way out. They said they would address it. Breakfast was normal fare. Waffles were really good. Overall, it worked for one night stay.

You can tell from the exterior that this is not your average LaQuinta. It's more like a resort. The room was modern and very comfortable, the hotel had a large open atrium space decorated like a mountain resort, breakfast was excellent with lots of options, even for keto dieters. The price was quite reasonable. Most of all, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
