Deep clean needs & over flowing garbages outside & broken alcohol bottles. Felt like I was in a room with a bar.

Stayed for 2 weeks in June, This hotel caters to Oil Patch and Construction workers. The room we rented had a Kitchen which came in handy. Good breakfast but had to go early as the workers ate everything, they did refill food on some days. Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. All the staff were simply amazing and would always go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Only issue and a minor one was ice machines were not working on our floor and other 2 floors, we had to go to main floor. Very quiet on our floor as workers went to bed early. We had our Grand Children stay over a couple of Nights and staff provided sheets for pull out bed for us and did not give us a issue over extra people in the room. Pleasant Stay.

The Hotel is older and starting to show some wear and tear but overall it is clean, quiet and a good value for a room in a typical oil country town. The continental breakfast offered a decent variety of choices which included both hot and cold options. I did find the Juices (both orange and apple) to be a bit sweet. A couple of items were lacking, I thought such as Mustard for the Meat selection and Brown Sugar for the Oat Meal, They only had plain instant oat meal. Other than those minor things the hotel is well worth the dollar charged.

The staff were kind and helpful. Unfortunately, one of the staff’s family lived in the room beside me and the kids were super loud till late so I couldn’t sleep. I understand that their circumstances might make it that they have to live there but the reality of it was that they were screaming, crying, and running around. Both me and my co- worker who stayed in separate rooms were kept up by them. The staff were also shouting to each other early in the morning through the hall so anyone who would have wanted to sleep in would have had trouble.

Check in was speedy and wonderful, staff were great. My room was super clean, and very comfortable bed including the pillows. Hotel may need a little updating in the general area but nothing to fuss about.

I love this hotel, the staff is always very friendly, the room was fantastic, very spacious, the bed was comfortable, had to stay a second night due to weather, and had no issues staying in hte same room
