We’re slightly confused by the influx of positive reviews for these rooms. I don’t usually go to the effort of writing any, but we had such a disappointing stay. On arrival, we were rudely greeted about being 1 hour late to check in, even though we messaged and said we would be later due to being held up. We were basically given the keys and told to bring our documents downstairs but only in 10 mins as she had other things to do and we could wait. The air con in the room could only be described as poor at best, we didn’t managed to sleep much. It was in the kitchen, which meant it didn’t reach the bedroom well. But, the worst part were the bugs and insects in the room. Tiny ants and bugs crawling over the floors. I have photos which I’ve attached. We also had an issue with payment, as *********** said we had paid half and the accommodation informed us this was wrong. We had to check thoroughly on *********** and bank statements which led to a stressful checkout. But, this was an app problem rather than the hosts fault. Just a shame as it was at the end of an already not pleasant stay. Location was very good.
