The staff were super friendly, especially the man who was serving in the restaurant for our stay. They were very accommodating and helped us plan a couple of day trips. The food portions for dinner in the restaurant were huge and delicious Slovenian food with a home-cooked feel. The buffet dinner was also great with lots of selection. The room was basic but very clean and nice with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Free parking was also great. The disappointing part is the fitness area which is NOT a gym and literally just 1 treadmill, 1 bike and 1 resistance weight machine (not helpful for anyone who actually does weight training). The swimming pool tiled area was not that clean and you have to pay extra for the sauna and towels. The swimming area was not luxury by any means and we didn't stay in there long. It also could have been warmer as not big enough to swim properly and more leisurely.

Very clean, somewhat dated hotel. Staff efficient and knowledgable. Very good evening meal buffet half board option, which you can book up to 5pm. Breakfast fine, not great. Free private parking next to the hotel. No aircon but they gave us a fan and the heat was tolerable. Room was average sized. Mobile reception in room was poor, did not try WiFi. Side view of lake. Nice indoor swimming pool which is a good size. Small gym and table tennis. Overall we found it somewhat overpriced, in common with all other hotels we have stayed in in Slovenia in July. Afterwards we felt that it would have been better value to stay in Bohinj Bistrica, rather than at the lake itself.

We loved this place, and the hotel was very well run, clean and comfortable.The staff were lovely ( with one unsmiling exception) and the pool is brilliant. Why not 5 stars? I do like to have coffee and tea making facilities in my room, and this hotel doesn't provide any- not even a public machine that you can help yourself from. And although the breakfasts were good, on many days we found that much of the fresh fruit was unripe, sadly. It would be easy enough to sort these things and then I'd readily give a 5 star rating.

Well located, welcoming hotel with large rooms. The staff were very helpful and knew Italian. In the area there are nature trails and you can get to the cable car that takes you to Mount Vogel. The only flaw was the food which wasn't the best. Nobody beats Italian cuisine!

Lovely hotel, very clean, staff were lovely, definitely recommend. Staff were so nice, breakfast and the food was great. 5/5. Amazing location. It was my birthday whilst I was staying here and came back to the room on the day with wine and a Happy Birthday note - this hotel goes above and beyond.

My small tour group was booked here and I received a single room. The room was very small with a narrow bed. My room was in the back of the property and worker and machinery noise sometimes disturbed sleeping. Breakfast was fine. Location is central so this is a good choice if you can get a lake view room.

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we had a room at the front with good views of the mountains and lake. The room was very comfortable and it had a nice balcony to sit out on. The breakfast was excellent, I have food sensitivities but there was plenty of choice for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a spa but I only used the swimming pool. It is just across the road from the lake where there are plenty of activities to do, or you can just relax and have a swim. It is perfectly situated for all the walks that surround it. I could of happily stayed longer. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is very well located opposite the lake but there is nothing around you have to go 30 to 40km. The room is very decent, spacious with balcony, the bathroom with bathtub so...old. on the other hand, very average breakfast, low-end products. Very friendly staff.
