I just love this hotel. It’s in a very quiet spot which is essential if you’re a light sleeper in Gümbet. It’s also ‘adult only.’ The staff are great and exceptionally friendly. Rooms are cleaned and linen replaced frequently. The breakfast is buffet style with a good selection and you can eat all you want. On a practical note, the Bodrum shuttle bus passes right in front of the hotel, and there is a variety of excellent restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. On the downside, this is a budget hotel but when I recently went to place a reservation the price had increased from £20 per night last October to £27 pn in May and £35 pn in June.

Recently returned from a week’s stay at Very Chic and had the most AMAZING time! The all inclusive food concept ordering via a QR code is brilliant. However, the biggest highlight for us was the amazing bar, restaurant, and entertainment staff. They work so hard and are extremely attentive - we were treated like royalty throughout our entire stay. Special thanks to Ibrahim for making our holiday so great with his amazing service and delicious cocktails. Free Starbucks at the hotel is also a great perk and the staff here are brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend Very Chic and already cannot wait to return!!!

Great location near the center and Gümbet area. Easy transportation, lovely breakfast, and excellent facilities. Moreover, the front desk manager, Mr. İlkay, was very attentive. You can have a delightful vacation here.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. The overall hotel environment and conditions are pretty good, but I lost a pair of Bluetooth headphones in the room. Because it automatically connects to the phone, I found that the Bluetooth headphones lost connection in the hotel room that night. Strangely, it was automatically connected the next morning. When I opened the door, a waiter happened to pass by... I told her about this and hoped that she would find it and give it to me. I still didn't find the headphones until I checked out.

The hotel location is excellent. Literally a minute and you are on the beach. The hotel itself is very cozy, clean. It was quiet at night. The mattress is hard, but for me this is what you need. If you choose for the future, then this is definitely the ideal option. The only thing is that the water in the shower was a bit cold for me. Great hotel, great staff, great experience! The beach is close (1 min😀). The breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view!

Absolutely amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles that made us feel right at home. The room is incredibly comfortable; as someone with a bad back, I appreciated the option to fill out a form on the app mentioning that the bed was a bit firm. Within just two hours, a plush mattress topper was delivered to enhance my comfort—what a thoughtful touch! As a fussy eater, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I never went hungry. My partner, on the other hand, savored every dish and often went back for seconds and even thirds! The food was delicious and varied, catering to all tastes. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and the pool areas are pristine. The beach is lovely, offering a perfect spot to unwind. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, with plenty to keep us engaged. During the day, we tried our hand at archery but mostly opted to relax by the pool. If you're a cat lover, this place is a dream! The cat house and the many friendly cats roaming the resort were a delightful bonus. I enjoyed daily cuddles with the cats on the beach each evening. I would absolutely return to this fantastic hotel—it truly exceeded my expectations!

This was our first time at an Aman and we didn't love it. After reading some other reviews, Amanruya seems to rank differently though to some of their other properties. Although we wouldn't return to this particular Aman, we would give another one a try. In short, we had a good stay but it wasn't faultless - by far. Considering the price you pay and value you get for money, I can only give it 3/5. ROOM 4/5 My understanding is that all the rooms are the same, just with different views. In our case we were surrounded by lovely gardens and big trees. The outdoor area is spacious and definitely the highlight for us. We spent most of our time at our private heated pool or in the sala relaxing. Every so often you get staff walking across the gardens so just bear in mind that you do not have complete privacy. The inside is beautifully laid out and furnished but perhaps a bit sterile for some. We stayed at the end of October and as it was getting colder, you spent more time indoors than in summer. Unfortunately the rooms weren't exactly conducive to lingering... i.e. the chairs are made for sitting rather than lying and reading a book. The living room area is also right next to your bed and doesn't have a very cosy feel. I guess the best way of putting it is slight style over substance. At least for us. (But perhaps this is an Aman-thing?) The bathroom is huge and gorgeous. Great toiletries, lovely tub. Fantastic bed and pillows. Nice music selection with ipod. There is also a TV with DVD player but you have to ask reception for a list of movies available to borrow. FOOD 4/5 The quality of ingredients and food overall was fantastic. Fresh produce with so much flavour that was very well executed! Starting with breakfast, the à la carte selection is varied and we didn't get bored after 5 days. The Menemen is a standout, as well as the Bodrum Breakfast which contains many local items like cheeses, hummus, honey and cream... We actually only had lunch at the beach once during our stay as breakfast kept us full until the evening. It's a shame because they have a different menu for lunch with Pides, Kebabs, etc. - unfortunately this food is not available for dinner. We brought it up with the Manager and he did mention that they had been talking about opening the beach restaurant in the evenings. Otherwise you are left with only one option, the main restaurant, as there is nothing close by outside of the resort. The food at dinner was excellent though and everything we tried was flavoursome and very well executed. The salads, mezzes, even the pasta was cooked to absolute perfection. The Baklava was the standout. I have never had such good Baklava in my life. I'm giving food 4/5 purely because of the lack of choice overall. Especially the room service menu was quite small and uninspired. Why put a burger on the menu and not some local items or mezze? The hotel is one of the best if not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The food is excellent the flavour and presentation is what you’d expect in a high end restaurant in England from the breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff are amazing, extremely polite and carry themselves with a smile which goes a long way on holiday nothing is ever to much for them. The drinks, music and the location of the hotel are fantastic. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, I have come away with my partner we are 28 and 24 years old and I will be booking to bring my mother back in the new year.

Actually the food and location everything is fine except two things First: no night club or entertainment Second: I was with my Pomeranian dog 2 kilos o paid for him 95$ for the 4 nights he doesn’t allow to stay even outdoors Resturand while the cats from street everywhere in the hotel and not vaccinated and mine have his passport and have his all vaccinations and he is not allowed 😡v v weird I didn’t like this they must put cats out And if it’s pet allowance and I paid extra fees to make him stay room and the cats from street surrounding us😡
