Great location near the center and Gümbet area. Easy transportation, lovely breakfast, and excellent facilities. Moreover, the front desk manager, Mr. İlkay, was very attentive. You can have a delightful vacation here.

I just love this hotel. It’s in a very quiet spot which is essential if you’re a light sleeper in Gümbet. It’s also ‘adult only.’ The staff are great and exceptionally friendly. Rooms are cleaned and linen replaced frequently. The breakfast is buffet style with a good selection and you can eat all you want. On a practical note, the Bodrum shuttle bus passes right in front of the hotel, and there is a variety of excellent restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. On the downside, this is a budget hotel but when I recently went to place a reservation the price had increased from £20 per night last October to £27 pn in May and £35 pn in June.

I had a lovely stay in this gorgeous boutique hotel run a by lovely young couple who made me feel very welcome and at home. The room was very clean and well appointed, nice pool area, amazing views over Gumbet Bay and a lovely poolside bar. If I come back to Gumbet I will certainly book here again.

Recently returned from a week’s stay at Very Chic and had the most AMAZING time! The all inclusive food concept ordering via a QR code is brilliant. However, the biggest highlight for us was the amazing bar, restaurant, and entertainment staff. They work so hard and are extremely attentive - we were treated like royalty throughout our entire stay. Special thanks to Ibrahim for making our holiday so great with his amazing service and delicious cocktails. Free Starbucks at the hotel is also a great perk and the staff here are brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend Very Chic and already cannot wait to return!!!

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left The Mirada was absolutely perfect and the experience ultimately comes down to the staff who deserve massive recognition for all their hard work. We were greeted by a very friendly Berk on reception who allowed us to enjoy breakfast before it closed whilst he did our paperwork, this was very kind and considerate of him. He then arranged for a cake to be sent to our room for my mum’s birthday which again was a really thoughtful touch. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and would source our drinks at breakfast and dinner times, special mention to Nusret who was able to make my sister’s very difficult latte request. We enjoyed our nights spent at the Lounge 9+ bar with Sullyman and another barman whose name I didn’t catch. The pair of them were great with ensuring all guests had drinks and even draped blankets around those who were feeling the cold. The beach terrace was lovely and sunny and was where we spent most of the day enjoying the beautiful weather. With a special mention to Sabri who was always offering us drinks. Melody the customer service General Manager listened to a minor complaint of ours with sincerity and ensured the issue was resolved promptly. Furthermore, Ugur the spa manager provided great service when we arrived at the spa and also took the time to find us to discuss the minor complaint we had which was greatly appreciated. Overall, we had an absolutely fabulous time at the Mirada. The food, service and facilities were perfect and just what you would want for a relaxing stay! Thank you so much to The Mirada team!

The overall hotel environment and conditions are pretty good, but I lost a pair of Bluetooth headphones in the room. Because it automatically connects to the phone, I found that the Bluetooth headphones lost connection in the hotel room that night. Strangely, it was automatically connected the next morning. When I opened the door, a waiter happened to pass by... I told her about this and hoped that she would find it and give it to me. I still didn't find the headphones until I checked out.

It’s a standard 3-stars hotel with very loud annoying music Check-in was quick and our bags arrived quickly at the room, which was good and spacious with a balcony with a great view. As gold members of *******, we were upgraded and offered a fruit plate. However, the shower was leaking, the curtains did not shut properly and the coffee machine wasn’t working (1 coffee is complimentary, the following days it’s paid - another surprise at a 5-stars hotel). We complained and the curtains were fixed but the other issues remained unfixed. The jacuzzi wasn’t working properly too. They do not make the turn around at night, as expected in a 5-stars unit. So the towels you use in the morning are the same you used after the beach, still humid. We dined twice at the restaurant and the food was ok. The setting is very good, right near the sea. Our waitress was a lovely girl from Cazaquistan - the only staff member to whom we would rate a 5-stars service. Breakfast is simply not good. The porridge was terribly made and the scrambled eggs were watery. It’s served at the table, you can only choose the juice, coffee, eggs and pancakes besides what they bring to the table. Beach chairs are not comfortable and we couldn’t move the shade, it is fixed together with a little table. There are five cabanas on the deck, at 150€ per day! But the worst part is the VERY LOUD MUSIC ALL THE TIME! It’s impossible to relax at the beach with horrible disco music the whole afternoon. EVERY DAY. When you complain they lower the volume a little bit and slowly put it very loud again… We were lucky enough there were few guests during our stay. Staff is very young and inexperienced, most of them speak poor English. We were wondering whether the owners of this hotel want it to be a 5-stars boutique hotel or a teenagers disco on the beach (even the choice of music is tiring and annoying!). Management should decide wether they run an elegant boutique style property or a noisy standard little hotel. Service in general is poor and we would never rate this a 5-stars boutique hotel. For the price paid at this hotel, we would expect a much better service and atmosphere. We do not recommend it and would rate it as 3-stars unit, as it is. We left after two nights (we booked 5 nights at this hotel).

The hotel is one of the best if not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The food is excellent the flavour and presentation is what you’d expect in a high end restaurant in England from the breakfast lunch and dinner. The staff are amazing, extremely polite and carry themselves with a smile which goes a long way on holiday nothing is ever to much for them. The drinks, music and the location of the hotel are fantastic. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, I have come away with my partner we are 28 and 24 years old and I will be booking to bring my mother back in the new year.

This was our first time at an Aman and we didn't love it. After reading some other reviews, Amanruya seems to rank differently though to some of their other properties. Although we wouldn't return to this particular Aman, we would give another one a try. In short, we had a good stay but it wasn't faultless - by far. Considering the price you pay and value you get for money, I can only give it 3/5. ROOM 4/5 My understanding is that all the rooms are the same, just with different views. In our case we were surrounded by lovely gardens and big trees. The outdoor area is spacious and definitely the highlight for us. We spent most of our time at our private heated pool or in the sala relaxing. Every so often you get staff walking across the gardens so just bear in mind that you do not have complete privacy. The inside is beautifully laid out and furnished but perhaps a bit sterile for some. We stayed at the end of October and as it was getting colder, you spent more time indoors than in summer. Unfortunately the rooms weren't exactly conducive to lingering... i.e. the chairs are made for sitting rather than lying and reading a book. The living room area is also right next to your bed and doesn't have a very cosy feel. I guess the best way of putting it is slight style over substance. At least for us. (But perhaps this is an Aman-thing?) The bathroom is huge and gorgeous. Great toiletries, lovely tub. Fantastic bed and pillows. Nice music selection with ipod. There is also a TV with DVD player but you have to ask reception for a list of movies available to borrow. FOOD 4/5 The quality of ingredients and food overall was fantastic. Fresh produce with so much flavour that was very well executed! Starting with breakfast, the à la carte selection is varied and we didn't get bored after 5 days. The Menemen is a standout, as well as the Bodrum Breakfast which contains many local items like cheeses, hummus, honey and cream... We actually only had lunch at the beach once during our stay as breakfast kept us full until the evening. It's a shame because they have a different menu for lunch with Pides, Kebabs, etc. - unfortunately this food is not available for dinner. We brought it up with the Manager and he did mention that they had been talking about opening the beach restaurant in the evenings. Otherwise you are left with only one option, the main restaurant, as there is nothing close by outside of the resort. The food at dinner was excellent though and everything we tried was flavoursome and very well executed. The salads, mezzes, even the pasta was cooked to absolute perfection. The Baklava was the standout. I have never had such good Baklava in my life. I'm giving food 4/5 purely because of the lack of choice overall. Especially the room service menu was quite small and uninspired. Why put a burger on the menu and not some local items or mezze?
