Comfort Suites Bloomington I-55 and I-74

Very clean hotel. Room on the third floor was quiet and spacious. There is a partial wall to separate the bed and sitting area, which allows the late sleeper to rest while you sit and read. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Hampton Inn wanted $167 per night and we stayed here for $127 and had access to the continental breakfast bar served 6 am to 9 am. The location was safe, secure, well-lighted, clean, comfortable, and priced right for such a great a review. It appears they've recently renovated the hotel and the updates were much nicer than I anticipated for what many would consider a "budget-friendly" hotel. I highly recommend this place!

If you have a mold allergy, do NOT stay here. My husband has severe mold allergies. It is so bad that they have the doors to the stairwells open to each floor. They are doing construction, which is evident by the new bathrooms but they are not addressing the mold that is very overpowering somewhere in that hotel. If you are travelling with a trailer or a semi driver, the parking lot is small. It does not go all the way around the hotel which makes it difficult to get a truck and trailer turned around. Why the hotel did not think of this being right off a highway is beyond me! The desk agent was very unfriendly. The bathroom was new but there are no soap or shampoo dispensers nor are there any shelves to put any containers on. The breakfast was ok just your standard eggs, sausage, etc.

Nice hotel with really great staff! Good customer service. Really friendly and helpful. Comfy beds and pillows. Bathrooms were upgraded. Breakfast had more fruit options than most. Will be my go to for Bloomington/Normal stays. Easy on and off the highway.

One of the nicest experiences I have had staying in a motel. It was very clean, well maintained, staff was very cordial, breakfast was ample with waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, pastries. Easy to get to from the freeway.

The staff is very friendly. We were impressed with the positive customer service of the front desk staff. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The morning breakfast was good. We appreciated the warm food , sausage and eggs.

This property was very clean, great breakfast, rooms were large as we get a handicap room. The only complaint is we were told it was a pet friendly hotel by ******* and it was not but luckily it was late at night and the people agreed to let us have our dog.

We have stayed at MUCH better Comforts than this one. On first entry, lobby smelled damp and musty. Staffer was cold and barely spoke English with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent. Sign in process, where you usually initial a paper printout about no smoking, etc, was all electronic on a tiny cell phone sized screen with my initials pre-filled in, and ( I should have read the tiny font, I know!) it auto enrolled me in the Choice Rewards program, which I did NOT want. Clerk probably gets a commission for that trickery. The hotel did big things ok, like clean room, comfy bed, hot water, BUT the multiple little things reflect badly on Comfort such as; toilet set VERY loose, holes in bathroom wall where something pulled off, missing screw in light switch cover plate, leg on table ready to fall off, old fashioned CFL bulbs in desk lamps, damaged plaster in several places. Many maintenance details ignored because it is more profitable to do so. I don't know how Comfort allows such penny pinching, as it reflects badly on the flag. Franchise inspector dropped the ball. Go somewhere else.

This is a great hotel. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Room spacious, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. Hot breakfast included and very good. A Bob Evans across the street within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
