The Art Hotel & Resort

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 nights all inclusive holiday, at the Art House Hotel. We can honestly say from start to finish we had the most wonderful time. The hotel was immaculately clean, our room was very spacious and had spectacular views over the beach and marina. The food and drinks in the all inclusive package were excellent, we never had a bad meal during our stay. Finally the staff at the hotel, well what can we say. From top management all the way down to the cleaning staff, we're all so kind, friendly and helpful, a special thanks to Shivansh and Muhammad in WU restaurant, and Bikash in the coffee lounge, and all the bell boys especially Shivnah. All in all a superb hotel with amazing staff. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends, and we will definitely return. Mr and Mrs Elley.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! If you want your special day to be a nightmare, then this is the place for you. From the moment we signed the contract and handed over the money, they became impossible to reach. I had to chase them down constantly just to get basic responses. They promised us so much, only to change everything last minute. They told me I’d get access to the hall the day before or by the morning of the wedding, but just one week before, they suddenly changed it to 4 pm on the wedding day. And guess what? On the actual day, they pushed it to 5 pm! How are you supposed to decorate a hall when guests are arriving at 7 pm?! It was a complete disaster. To make things worse, people were eating and drinking in the hall at 4:40 pm while my team was trying to set up! The manager was outright rude and disrespectful. Despite paying for their highest package, which included a men’s majlis, they refused to provide it on the day, claiming that because it was a mixed wedding, we didn’t qualify for it. This was AFTER we paid for it! And the cherry on top? They demanded IDs and names for the vendors ahead of time, but then refused to let them in. My flowers and chocolates were left sitting outside in the heat for 45 minutes! They completely disregarded my instructions and requests, leaving me in tears on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. If you value your sanity, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They ruined my wedding day, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the heartbreak and find a venue that actually cares about their clients. This was the absolute worst decision we made.

Gosh it’s been over a fortnight since we returned from our fantastic stay at The Art Hotel. Unfortunately we’ve been so busy on our return we are only now finding time to write a review… but what a positive and upbeat review we can write! We stayed with you from 3rd - 13th September 2024 on a fully inclusive ( including drinks/alcoholic and otherwise) package - and everything about our holiday was superb. The hotel and its facilities are modern, clean and very impressive. Our Grand Room with sea view was large, well furnished and well equipped. The restaurants available to us (as well as the excellent In Room Dining service) were first class. Even so called ‘snacks’ (available at the Bar, Pool-side and Beach etc,) were a veritable meal in themselves! The service provided by ALL the staff team (Front Desk, Room, Room Service, Beach, Pool, Restaurant etc) was excellent - they all simply couldn’t do enough to help guests - so in that sense it seems a little unfair to single out any individual. We would like however to give a big SHOUT for Grace (Front Desk Assistant Manager). We were so grateful for her help, advice and close attention to our needs - she really went the extra mile to help us. Constructive suggestions..??..not too many at all…but we did wonder whether you were ‘missing a trick’ in that the two ‘All Inclusive’ restaurants available to us (Rosso and Wu) - although serving excellent fayre - might benefit from offering a DIFFERENT lunchtime menu to the one they offered each evening? Overall, however, we are happy to record a thoroughly 5* endorsement on Trip Advisor - with many thanks to all at The Art Hotel for such a memorable and enjoyable stay! N.B. We really did wonder whether some recent negative reviewers had made a mistake & posted about the wrong ART hotel?…. Even some of the FACTUAL content in their description’s are incorrect …. & their evaluations so wide of the mark we really can’t believe they are describing the Art Hotel in Anwaj island in Manama Bahrain! Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. Great sea view rooms and good facilities. Good pizza and drinks in the Rosso restaurant. Jion in the Club Lounge is a great guy. Very good sense of humour and extremely welcoming and helpful. I look forward to visiting again

Lovely hotel! Beautiful private beach. Totally recommend booking a suite, with its private balcony and hot tub. Throughout the hotel is was very clean and tidy. The VIP lounge was amazing, delicious food & fabulous service by the very helpful Jlon.

Thank you all for a great a experience with my family. I have enjoyed staying here at Art hotel and resorts. For sure, this will not be the first! Mr.jion was a professional at VIP lounge. He served us with amazing smile and outstanding services.

Worst hotel value I have ever experienced. Took my family for a holiday weekend trip and we had to leave after the first day. The hotel isn’t very old, but the property is deteriorating fast. From the moment you arrive, not only is it readily apparent that the grounds aren’t well kept, but the exterior of the hotel has clearly not been cleaned in a long while, if ever. So, it’s not a surprise when greeted with a musty smell when you enter the lobby, which is cheaply furnished, and a bit dingy. Certainly don’t expect to be greeted as if it were a five star hotel. It doesn’t get any better when you get to the small room, and we had a club room. Cheaply appointed, with only two old threadbare towels, one each small viles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, basically the same feel as an older Holiday Inn. Beach furniture is dilapidated and the service there was worse. We had to flag waitstaff to order anything which took quite a while and good bit of effort, followed by a fairly long wait for most items. Throughout the entire stay, the service was terrible. We booked aclub room, that was supposed to have snacks after 3 PM, there were none, and the staff said that they couldn’t provide. When we did go to the club room at 5 PM, we found only the very cheapest beverages, and only one selection of each. We asked for a turndown service and to provide towels and soap sufficient for our family, was told that would happen, but it never did. This carried on all the way past our check out, when we had called down to ask the valet to bring our car around. After checking out and waiting 20 minutes for inquiring where our car was, it was no surprise at the valet that we spoke to, hadn’t bothered to initiate bringing the car around. Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this hotel. All of the above was for a $700 per night room.

All the members of my family stayed at the hotel, we opted to stay there because we felt it offered a good all round combination for adults and children, we weren’t disappointed. We had a few days during Ramdhan too, the menu and service were very good. All the staff members, without exception, were courteous and helpful but a special mention goes to Hanane. We certainly look forward to going back one day in the future.
