There was a 4-star sign hanging at the door of the hotel. It turned out to be a fake one! There is no door (or plastic sheet) in the shower area. There is no place to hang the shower faucet. You can only raise it with one hand. (This is the first time in your life that you can take a shower by raising it.) I booked the hotel with a credit card guarantee. However, the hotel cannot use international credit cards to settle the bill when leaving the hotel. It must accept 206 euros in cash. I had no choice but to go to the bank to withdraw cash for payment, and the landlord's attitude was very unreasonable! This is the worst hotel I have ever encountered in my life! Difference! Difference! Difference!

This was a very convenient hotel in an expensive area, so did the trick for one night but would not have wanted to stay here longer. On the positive side if you are driving there is plenty of space to park, the staff are super nice and friendly and it's very close to the lake and also to the Bled Union bus stop which takes you to Lesce Bled station. On arrival I walked from Bled Jezero but it was a really good walk, especially with a heavy bag, albeit a wheely one, so wouldn't recommend that. The room was nice and big and with a decent balcony, but the room itself was very threadbare, esp the bathroom which has missing shelves and fittings hanging off the wall. The shower was hand held which I haven't seen for years :) As I said the staff were great and didn't make a fuss when I knocked a painting off the wall with my bag which then fell down the stairs ! and also were very accommodating in leaving my bag after check out. Breakfast was OK, pretty basic nothing special but filled me up at the start of the day. One odd thing is they only accept cash, but there are lots of ATMs around closer to the lake.

We arrived at this hotel yesterday and checked out today. Dirty rooms (stain on the theoretically clean bed), completely broken plaster on the bathroom ceiling, payment only in cash (no pos and already here they turn me around), supermarket breakfast in the company of a dead fly on the windowsill next to the table. Last maintenance probably in the times of communism. At the modest sum of €150 for one night.

Everything looks 30-40 years old; starting from the peeling gate up to the mold stains in the room, the broken tiles or the rust in the bathroom. Very poor cleaning. No elevator. They don't accept credit cards. Staff not available to give any advice. Poor breakfast with poor quality products. We are certainly far from what a 4-star hotel should be. The only plus points are the presence of free parking reserved for guests and the proximity to the lake.

Runtergekommenes Hotel Röhrenfernseher, sehr sehr sehr hellhörig (nachbarzimmer bis Lobby - man hört jedes Wort), Bad nicht renoviert, nicht mal die Schrauben vom Handtuchhalter nachgezogen, Frühstück - sehr wenig Auswahl und getreu dem Motto günstig und komm bitte nicht wieder Preis Leistung stimmt in keinem Verhältnis - wir haben wegen der Regatta 100€ pro Nacht gezahlt - fair wären maximal 35€ (selbst dafür bekommt man im Hostel mehr)

The staff here are lovely and helpful, willing to do early check ins. Parking on site is very useful, since the hotel is very close to the center of activities, the lake, and is reasonably priced for the location. One caveat: the family room was awful cramped and hard to spend much time in. But what does that matter? You should be outside anyways.
