We stayed for 3 nights (in two different rooms) in this luxury boutique inn. Housed in a former villa just steps from the lake and with magnificent views of the island and church, this property has only a handful of comfortable and spacious suites each unique in layout and features. We stayed in the “prestige suite” on the main floor (one of the smaller rooms) and “room B” up on the 1st look (2nd story to US folks). Both had patios with outdoor furniture and view to the lake. The prestige was more expensive and a full soaking tub and larger bay area while B had a lot more space and full-on views of the island and was the size of a small apartment-so much space. Of course there aren’t elevators in these older buildings so if you aren’t on the main floor be prepared or like us travel light. Both rooms had large comfortable king beds, L’occitane amenities and lots of cozy touches. Each had a ceiling AC unit that we didn’t really need in the cooler September nights during our visit. Breakfast (not included) was €22 per person and We tried it the first day. This consisted of eggs cooked to order with option for meat. They also had fruit, yogurt and pastries, coffee juice and tea. As I don’t really eat eggs, we opted not to have it on days 2-3 as it seemed pricey for what I would get. They have a small parking lot and there is no additional charge for parking. We really like the location and were able to walk (15 min) to restaurants in town, 10 min to pletna boat to the island, and being on the lake was nice. Note you are also adjacent to the main (busy) road but once all the dray trippers left around 4, it wasn’t too bad-especially up off the main level. All in all a lovely place to use as a base.
