Hywel was the most welcoming host for our overnight stop on the way home. One night was not enough as the quality of every aspect of our stay was memorable. All previous reviews are spot on regarding the welcome, room, facilities and delicious food. Nothing was too much trouble including an early trip to the boulangerie so we could have croissants before leaving early. A gem in the Loire for sure.

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful historic Manior . Such a lovely welcome by Howell to this amazing property with its immaculate and tastefully designed rooms. The breakfasts were wonderful only to be surpassed by the evening meal cooked by Howell himself who looked after the guests so well. The local wines provided were an excellent accompaniment. This is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Une magnifique adresse : reposant, déconnecté, bienveillant… des hôtes discrets, aux petits soins. Une superbe chambre, une literie au top 👌 nous avons dîné au labour : simple mais excellent, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix mais avec le calme en plus et au bord de la piscine. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette adresse 👍

Beautiful place in a wonderful part of the country - the hosts are so kind as well as being very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their region. We appreciated the generous welcome drinks and breakfast - as well as the opportunity to relax by the pool while the room was super clean and comfortable. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous!

Un très joli manoir dans la campagne angevine. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très attentionnés. Chambres spacieuses et très confortables. Le jardin est agréable avec une piscine bien intégrée dans la nature. Un lieu parfait pour un week-end romantique. Dîner et petit déjeuner copieux.

The property is beautiful. Mel and Hywel make you feel very welcome. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and area around the hotel is very picturesque. We would definitely go back.

Apologies for the late review and we hope you and the family are well. We loved our stay and highly recommend this beautiful character property, stunning absolutely stunning accomodation, so much fun with all the history and surroundings. Perfect french breakfast each morning and well located for sightseeing. We loved our stay and will remember it as a highlight of our trip to the loire region.

I visited Manoir de Jouralem with my mother and our dogs, and our only negative is that we stayed for one night and not more. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a beautiful, spacious room before being handed a refreshing glass of cremant. The gardens are lovely, and to have our delicious breakfast sitting by the natural pool was a highlight. We were recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which was entirely local and a great setting. Mel and Hywel have created the most comfortable, luxurious B&B and we look forward to returning.
