Premier Inn Blackpool (Beach)

Stayed here 2 nights with friends while visiting Blackpool illuminations. The room had everything we needed, the bathroom was clean & the bed comfortable. Extra tea, coffee, milk & sugar was available in reception on a help yourself basis. The location is good being only a 10min walk to the South Pier tram stop. Staff were pleasant & helpful throughout. We had a lovely breakfast on site which was very good value. Would definitely recommend.

Room was very tired looking. There was a lot of dust and the carpet needed a hoover. It was an accessible room but it was very small and not really suitable for a wheelchair. The wet room was a good size but the shower seat was a bit rusty so it put me off having a shower. Sorry, but I won't be back

The hotel is in a great location, it's quiet but only a ten minute walk to the beach and south pier. The hotel is comfortable and clean but basic and they are looking to change the restaurant and add more rooms so the decor is tired. Breakfast was good but dinner was awful, the food was lovely as were the staff but they are so short staffed, we had a two course meal for 6 and we were there for three hours. The meals came out at different times, three of us ate and the other three waited another hour for their meals, we had to constantly ask where our food was. There is a Greggs in the garage next door for snacks.

The worst Premier Inn experience I think I have ever had mainly due to the experiences in the restaurant, the food was way below usual standard. All staff were friendly but not particularly helpful, lack of information and advice from any reception staff had consequences like the vending machine charging me too much, no wifi all weekend, the restaurant staff ticking me off for no breakfast table reservation, no information about the nearby train station when asked, which would have saved us some time and trouble. Expect less than your usual Premier Inn stay and you won’t be disappointed. I overheard 2 other guests making complaints too.

Anniversary stay was not sure after reading mixed reviews need not have worried staff on reception amazing room lovely and restaurant food very good was told on reviews food not good we found this not true we booked meal plan on arrival as restaurant only open to hotel guests will stay here next time

Came for the weekend. Nice clean room. We paid for breakfast, only you had to pre book your time, and they fill up quickly. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. The food was amazing, but the service was not. There was only one waitress on, who was running around. I felt sorry for her. The bar also shuts at 10 which is quite early. Rooms get very hot as no air con. We also had the room master key as the key cutter was not working. Otherwise great stay and will return.
