The Waltzing Weasel B&B

Excellent B+B: comfortable room, great breakfast and lovely host. Great location in walking distance into Hayfield, lots of sightseeing opportunities in the area and great walks for all levels. Just super with great views. Walks from the house to Lantern Pike and Kinder Scout and lots more.

Very nice lady greeted us on arrival and showed us our room which was spacious and clean. The building is very old and full of character, breakfast was plentiful and well presented and cooked perfectly, the sausages were delicious. There are several places to eat in the evening close by.

Cycling trip stay on my own.......FANTASTIC STAY......Easy check in, Great good size room with every thing you need, LOADS of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc etc, Good size room with a very comfy bed. Good size bathroom with a bath and a shower and loads hot water, soaps, towels etc...It was a very hot day/night and there is even a fan in the room.....Mega information pack in the room about the WW and local food, places to eat and visit. Very friendly and funny lady who runs it.........The breakfast is top notch a great cold selection and the full English is cooked to perfection with great ingredients and no grease what so ever and a spot on fried egg, fresh orange and coffee. A nice early start for breakfast as well when you need to get on 7.30 Loads parking, Good WiFi Fantastic value for money with an amazing breakfast. !00% would stop again

We stayed for two nights at the weekend, it was a lovely hotel, big modern room, great location and great views. Carol was great, the breakfast was cooked to perfection and the bacon sandwiches were great too 😉 if I came back to the Peak District I’d definitely stay here!

Great location for hiking in the Peak district. We did Lantern pike, Kinder Scout and Jacobs Ladder. We came down from London and stayed for 2 nights here. We got here by taxi from Stockport station. We were greeted by Carol who was an amazing host. The was room was great as we had stunning views and we also had binoculars which we could see kinder scout. There is also breakfast included which was great and much needed before we started our hike.

we booked the B&B last minute for a quick getaway, we had a choice of 2 and after reading the reviews we had to book the Waltzing weasel and meet Carol!! we were not disappointed... amazing host! room was lovely, fully stocked with an arrangement of drink options and replenished after the first nights stay!!!! lovely plentiful freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of options and they are happy to accommodate any requests , with a side order of the lovely Carol in the morning , highly recommend and we will definitely be returning :)

Lovely place, all staff were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. Rooms were very big too. New mills was a 30 minute walk away where there was a few pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again…..

very nice place to stay, Carol was very helpful. we stayed 1 night. rooms were very clean, home form n-home. breakfast was excellent, good quality and plenty of it. in a lovely location for all the walks. The only one thing i would say is our Mattress was very "soft & bouncy" but thats personal preference not a problem.

Had a wonderful few days at the Waltzing Weasel. Carol is a very amusing lady and has the ability to make sure you start the day with a smile on your face. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again
