We enjoyed our stay though late night crowds walking past can be very loud. This is not anything against the actual hotel just was awoken quit a few times both nights we stayed.

Restaurant eas good, and service was super. The room smelled like cigar and piss, and the whole 3rd floor did not seem very clean at all.

Las dos noches que estuvimos hacía una calor sofocante. La habitación era en la buhardilla y el calor acumulado de todo el dia hizo que la habitación era un horno toda la noche. Al no tener aire acondicionado hizo que dormir en esa habitación fuera imposible. Los pequeños ventiladores eran insuficientes. Una cama tenía una pata rota y por la madrugada se acabo de desmontar. El olor a comida por una salida de humo era constante. La ducha no tenía presión de agua y salía un chorro muy débil. Lo mejor el servicio que era excelente.

The property carpets are very stained and could do with cleaning. The carpet at the ***** between our bedroom and bathroom was frayed and large pieces were sticking up. The toilet bowl was very stained around the edges.

Put into a single room (No 20) which on closer inspection was most unsatisfactory. It had two broken window panes, broken window blinds, broken toilet seat and no handle/grip on bathroom light switch. On complaining was moved to an adjacent double bedroom ( No 22) which was an improvement but still below par.

We stayed at the weekend for 1 night, as a friend was getting married locally. As a group we booked 3 double bedrooms. On arrival there is plenty of parking, reception and bar area are welcoming and the staff are friendly. This hotel has some good points, but the rooms are below standard. Looking at all 3 rooms, you can see some effort has been made to upgrade the rooms, ours was decorated nicely, but the bathrooms are awful! Old, grubby, and awful shower over bath running from taps. The carpets all need replacing, and our room was so hot!! Even with window wide open. Air con would be needed. Blinds let in all the lights, and some thought needs to be put into this. I have given them 3 stars, but really it should be 2 for rooms, and 4 for the bar, breakfast and the friendly staff. Look into other hotels in the area. We would not return.
