The location is great right by the water. The 2 bed condo is very large and very fun during the day although feels a little creepy at night, but maybe that's just because of the area we're in. It would have been cool to be able to go up to the attic since it overlooks the living room, but perhaps that's not accessible for safety reasons.

We had an excellent enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s literally walking distance to the lake and the community per se it’s a convenient and perfect place to spend time with the family in beautiful Big Bear.

Location was great. Honestly I would not book again. Building 3 had a fly trap but it just attracted all the flies and anytime we’d open our door we’d get about 5 flies into our room.
Cleanliness is the reason why I wouldn’t go back. I got bed bugs as well. I slept with my children in the room so specially that bed, but my husband slept on the pull out couch (super thin mattress and uncomfortable, which is expected unfortunately) but he didn’t get bed bug bites.
The only good thing is that we were there for Fourth of July and being lakeside the view was amazing both morning and evening.

Furniture, carpeting and kitchen appliances were either old/outdated or didn't work well. Kitchen is too small for more than 1 person and linoleum flooring is filthy. Carpets also very dirty and why would you have carpets in an area like this? You're either tracking in snow or dripping water from the lake/pool.

Beware. Staff will be at your door at check out time. An office staff knocked on our door at exactly 10:00. No good morning, how are you first. Just ,you know check out time is 10:00? We were literally minutes from exiting the room. Extremely inconsiderate and rude.

The first day was great. Then the fire broke out and the air quality was too bad to hike. Then on day three we were ordered to evacuate the area as the fire was close to spreading to our area. So not a good experience. Of course it is not the fault of Lagonita Lodge, but not idea to go in September or fire season.

Beautiful get away right on Big Bear Lake. We stayed in a 1 bd, 1 ba with full kitchen over looking the lake. Nicely appointed, clean rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. We rented a boat onsite and had a good time on the water. This is a place we like to frequent.

I have been staying at Logonita Lodge for years. My family owns timeshares there, but I usually book on my own for my personal trips. I was there 3 weeks ago and then again this past week. Coincidentally I was given the same room both times...Bldg 4 Room 234. I love the room, though the ice maker was broke before and still broke this time. Which is a pain when there is no store or icemaker close, but I was able to et a large bbag of ice delivered from the front desk. Also I love having a full kitchen to cook in, thought it was missing some cookware (large frying pan/cooking utensils) which made it difficult to cook for more than 1 person at a time. It has gotten a little run down, but is still beautiful. Free boat parking, great price & view and amazing location. The staff is very helpful and friendly, so yes I will definitely be returning and still highly recommend this place!
