"We had 2 nights at Sandpiper Cottages, Great Cottages close to lovely beach. We had in stood from the information given by Tasmania Vacations that is was a BnB. Not so. We were given a welcome pack when we arrived which was great for the first morning But were advised by the host we I asked for a little more butter and Jam for the 2 nd day that it was certainly not a BnB. As it is 9 klm out of the small town of Bichnoe was a little hard when you are travelling from WA and staying a BnB’s It is also quite a distance from Freycinet and Wine Glass Bay. More of a Summer Family place."

Wintersun Gardens Motel

"The hotel is completely dark at night and the room facilities are old, but it is still habitable. I may not consider that place next time. There are many better options."

Diamond Island Resort, Restaurant & Bar and Penguin Show

"The beach here is stunning, with really clean white sand. At low tide, you can even walk over to a small island. It's a shame we didn't get to see any penguins return to their nests during our two-night stay, but we did spot some wild rabbits, kangaroos, and seagulls!"

Cod Rock Point

"This is a fantastic place to stay, very well laid out comfortable and with a wonderful garden with Seaview and access to the shore. Every conceivable item has been included. It's more like a home than just somewhere to stay. The best we have stayed in since arriving in Australia six weeks ago. Private drive, ample lounge, kitchen with the lot ! Dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, cooker, microwave. Even picnic items such as a rug,flask, and travel cups, plus beach towels. Electric BBQ and ample outdoor seating. This is how all "stop over" places should be. 10 out of 10, if you could add a sandy beach, it would be an 11."

Apartments on Fraser Bicheno

"A very nice apartment. There are two parking spaces at the door. There is also a peach tree in the yard. We picked a lot of peaches. There is a washing machine but no dryer. You can hang them in the backyard. Other facilities are very complete. The landlord also put a bottle of milk and two bottles of orange juice in the refrigerator. There is also a coffee machine and an oven."

"we stayed in unit 3 in september had an unpleasant odour needs a cleanup outside and a reno inside would be classed as an older one bedroom flat not comparable to a good priced motel or hotel at $165.00.what you get is somewhere to sleep and shower very basic save your money and look elswhere major disapointment"
