Those who are looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond, The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the perfect choice. From the minute we walked into the door, the hotel was 5-star in every single aspect. The rooms are beautiful and handy, from the digital tablet that controls all the settings for your room, the printer under the desk, the radio and television, to the continually replenished plate of fresh tangerines on the table, the floral curtain design, and the unique monogrammed pillows that you get to keep. They are spacious and light, thanks to their floor to ceiling windows. The location is convenient, walking distance to Rodeo Dr and other main streets and shops in Beverly Hills. Not to mention that the hotel offers free drop-offs within Beverly Hills, in either their iconic Rolls-Royce Phantom, Cadillacs or BMW limousines, a fantastic way of getting around! The rooftop area is ideal, and you mustn’t miss out on visiting it during your stay. Due to the size of the hotel, it being smaller than the others in Beverly Hills, The Peninsula feels more exclusive, is less busy and it enables the staff to pay more attention to individual guests. The pool, rooftop, gym and spa are all top-notch facilities. The staff are excellent, the building is beautiful, clean and well maintained, the food at breakfast is all one can ask for and the garden and lobby are full of divine, fragrant flowers. Of all the places to stay in central Beverly Hills, nothing comes close to The Peninsula standard, the epitome of luxury. This hotel is beautiful and the amenities are just what you would expect with a 5* hotel (gym, spa, bar, restaurant). However paying £600 a night, you’d expect to be able to access the spa without an additional cost. It does feel like the hotel doesn’t ‘value’ its guests in this department and is more concerned with its daily visitors. I was disappointed with a lady at front desk (she was a younger asian or hispanic lady). She had promised a 50% discount with parking (Which is $71 per day) and suddenly had amnesia at checkout. She also came across rude and unhelpful. The in room dining staff are brilliant. Special shout out to Wendy & Matthew who went above and beyond during my stay! Unfortunately, the bed smelt strongly of sweat/b.o when we arrived and this was resolved straight away. Other than this, the beds were comfy, the balconies are helpful but could be better in terms of views and furniture. Pros and cons throughout!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Mondrian LA for 5 days at the end of July. We had a rough start to the trip, our luggage got lost (thanks to air Canada) and our reservation was lost once we got to the hotel. Marie Verdugo was patient, caring and extremely helpful and didn't give up on us. Our reservation was then found and from that point on the hotel was very generous and giving, we can't thank Marie and the whole staff enough! We will for sure be back!

There is no sense of security in the neighborhood. Very small lobby, not the concept of the domestic Ritz-Carlton, it seems that the apartment lobby, there is no service, the service such as water has to make a few calls before sending it, I feel that no one is serving the whole hotel.

Nice hotel, delicious vegetarian breakfast, you can take it with you. Parking at the hotel is paid, we parked on the next street. No pool, but you can see the ocean from the window. Some rooms overlook garbage containers, but they have the best view of the ocean)))

We stayed for 5 nights, and it’s been one of the best experience visiting USA. The lobby is beautiful, the location is beautiful with ocean beach views, and the staffs here are world class. Lucian has been very helpful correcting the numbers regarding the dining during the stay and clear up all the confusion. On top of that, he gave an excellent service, being super friendly, yet very professional. I really enjoy talking to him, and I’m sure other guests seem, too. We’ve also been ordering from the dining room and the meals have been delicious, whether it’s the crab cake, the caramel cheesecake, the Oceana burrito, and more. Additionally, we have always run into Lucian, and he always gives us a welcome smile! Lucian really makes the dining experience here more special, and I’m grateful to have him around in the hotel throughout our stay! Overall, a very luxury and comfortable stay! Overall the stay was pretty disappointing. This is the oldest Hilton I’ve stayed in. It’s terribly outdated and in much need of a renovation. The AC was sweating and leaking on the carpet throughout the night. The shower handle was broken and had to be repaired before we could use it. The breakfast was about the same as Fairfield’s breakfast just down the street and theirs is free. Not worth the extra money if you’re looking for comfort next to the airport. Honestly the Fairfield was much better for less money.

Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant are all welcoming and accommodating. It feels like home. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is close to restaurants and Los Angeles International airport.

The best value for money, especially if you are going to Universal Studios. This is a mom-and-pop shop run by a Japanese aunt in Hong Kong. It has a very large space and a safe environment. There is a supermarket within a 3-minute walk. It takes 18 minutes to drive to Universal Studios and 35 minutes to Hollywood. It is also very clean!
