Everything alright except the AC. It was not adjustable so there was terrible air in the room. Had to sleep with open window every night as the AC only blew out hot air of 19 degrees. I went down to reception but they did not change my room or fix my AC. You can’t advertise with an AC and then regulate it centrally to 19 degrees when it’s 38 degrees outside.

I love the location. It is very closed to Berlin Gesundbrunnen station which is a big station and able to take local trains to most parts of Berlin. The Polish trains to Poland also start from here. Breakfast is better than most of German hotels. Bed is very good.

I had an unpleasant experience staying at this hotel. Four out of the five front desk staff members I interacted with had poor language skills in both English and German. They seemed to lack any sense of hospitality and failed to meet basic guest requests. The hotel flies a Turkish flag outside and appears to be Turkish-owned and operated. This context made my stay particularly unfortunate, as it coincided with the 'International Uyghur Forum' hosted by the World Uyghur Congress. Some members of the delegation—who advocate for an East Turkistan ideology—behaved aggressively and with open hostility toward guests of Chinese appearance. Management completely failed to ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere for all of their guests.

Location was really near the train station! However, it is a little far from city centre and the surrounding area can get slightly sketchy at night.

The woman receptionist named was very rude and ******. She would be smiling to a white guy and rolling her eyes to us the next second (we are Asian.) Check-in needs to be done on the self service tablet, she didn’t offered any help other than impatiently telling go to the machine with her eyes rolling. One of the room initially assigned to us was defective: there’s no WiFi signal in the room. We asked if we could switch to another as everything in the room remained intact and there were clearly other rooms (you can even book a new one right away online!!) She just refused us saying all rooms are full, and saying that she doesn’t care if we would like to leave a negative review online. We had in total three rooms but we found surprisingly no room in a perfect state: one doesn’t have WiFi, one’s sink drainage is clogged, one’s coffee machine didn’t work….. Anyway, none of us had an experience that you would expect from a 4-star hotel.
