Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City

No te alojes en este hotel si no puedes dormir con ruido. Si duermes con las ventanas abiertas el ruido de la calle y las sirenas pasando todo el rato es insoportable. Si cierras en la habitación tienes dos ventiladores viejos que también hacen ruido. No descansas y por tanto no disfrutas tu estancia en Berlin. Además nosotros dejamos que el hotel porque dos noches más sin dormir iba a ser insostenible y no nos devolvieron el dinero. No dejaros guiar por el precio asequible porque el precio a pagar es vuestra falta de descanso, por lo que no podrás disfrutar las vacaciones. Tampoco funciona el wifi.?Cama grande y cómoda y limpio, eso sí lo cumplía. No recomendado.

When booking a 4-star hotel, one can at least assume that the hotel will meet the basics. Unfortunately, even this is not the case at all in the Hotel "Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City". In concrete terms: the reception in the hallway, which you have to use to get to the reception or to the rooms, does not reveal anything good as a first impression. It was dirty and unkempt throughout our stay. Arrived in the room after the "normally friendly" check-in, the first thing we noticed was that a bottle of water (for which you have to pay when consumed) was already half drunk. After our arrival I was looking forward to a shower, but only until I saw the very dirty shower and after turning on the rain shower I realized that it was hardly spitting out any more water because of the strong limescale and dirt. To make matters worse, our room wasn't even cleaned on the second day. The maid informed us that she would make up for it. Unfortunately, this did not happen either. At checkout they were absolutely rude and not at all accommodating. We booked through Booking who apparently mistakenly had not passed on the cancellation of a room. We were then massively urged to pay for the room anyway. In principle, this is not reprehensible if Booking has not passed on the cancellation. After some discussion, it was initially fine with the hotel not to pay for the canceled room. While the incident was being clarified with Booking, the hotel sent me the bill for the canceled room, with the threat that I would hand over the process to a lawyer immediately if I didn't pay within the next few days without hesitation. Unfortunately, there was no response to a polite email that I would like to clarify the process with Booking before I pay the bill. This hotel should be avoided if you want a relaxing and nice stay in Berlin!
