Hotel Bristol Berlin

The location is very good in the heart of Kudam ,close to the Zoo train station. The staff is very nice and helpful. The lobby, restaurant, bar ,swimming-pool are very nice and classy .Unfortunately ,the standard rooms are quite outdated ,especially bathroom,. The furniture's are looking really like from 1980 s,with wired mirrors at the entrance . I was feeling like in a changing room. Overall the stay was good in my room. I believe they may have updated rooms too.
Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin

I was attending a conference in Berlin and stayed at the Adlon Kempinski Hotel, adjacent to the Brandenburg Gate, close to the Reichstag Building, and not too far from the Victory Column. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room is not too big and relatively compact, but the facilities are complete, the bedding is excellent, and you can have a good rest. The breakfast conditions are very good, with complete dishes, rich fruits and elegant environment.

We arrived to a friendly welcome at this lovely hotel . Excellent room, well appointed with a modern ensuite bathroom . Breakfast was a well laid out buffet with plenty of choice . Staff were once again very friendly and courteous with pots of tea or coffee served at the table . The hotel was well placed for sightseeing Berlin and we would thoroughly recommend it if that is the purpose of your visit . The foyer has a unique and fascinating light display which is a lovely feature to watch in the evening with a quiet drink . We understand that there is a pool and gym facility but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit that section of the hotel during our three night stay .
Holiday Inn Berlin City East Side, an IHG Hotel

Friedrichshain
I liked most things about this hotel. The room was nice and the staff were doing their best. The breakfast was fine. The location is particularly good, close to Warschauer Straße and Friedrichshain. Unfortunately, the wi-fi internet was almost unusable when trying to connect from my room. It would work for a few minutes, then the connection would drop out and I would be unable to reconnect for an hour or so. This happened repeatedly and it was the same with each of my devices, so the problem was with the hotel’s internet service. I ended up using my own hotspot. It’s a shame because I liked the hotel otherwise.
Hotel Amano Rooms & Apartments

My preference was not provided when we checked in. We asked for high floor and quiet room, but we were assigned 2nd floor and faced tram street. We were told to change on the next day, but we did not waste time on that again. Normally our high floor and quiet room should be granted and arranged by the hotel receptionist/reservation on and before our arrival.

The staff at the hotel is awesome! Can't express enough how much we appreciate their kindness, knowledge and customer focus. Deep respect to such amazing team! Our small room was... small, but very clean. The beds and pillows were soft and comfy, the linens and towels - pristine while. The room was cleaned daily and towels were changed as requested. Plus a lovely view from the window and aroma of the blooming linden trees. A few things shocked us initially. It was an unpleasant surprise to see that there are no room amenities: no kettle, no tea, no cups, no drinking water. Only two glasses and the bottle opener. Unpleasant discoveries continued after visiting the bathroom. Again, no toothbrushes, no toothpaste, no shampoo & conditioner (only washing liquid inside the shower stall and next to the sink), no slippers, no even shower cap! I am not mentioning the bathrobes... Since we had with us our own slippers and shower cap, the absence of the basic stuff offered everywhere else around the globe, did not spoil our stay. But honestly, for €145 euro per night I really expected more. So come prepared, bring all small items that could make your stay comfortable, and you will have a great stay, as we have had.
