"The location is a bit hard to find, but the staff were very friendly. The guests were also very welcoming. Located in downtown Berkeley, it's conveniently located with easy access to parking and banks. There's also a free gym nearby, a fully equipped shared kitchen, and very clean shared bathrooms. For expensive San Francisco, this price is definitely worth it."

"If you have something to do at UC Berkeley, this hotel is the best place to stay with following reasons. (1) Best Location - The nearest to the UC Berkeley, (2) Staff there is super nice and friendly. It made my stay so comfortable. In a meanwhile, you need to bear in mind that (1) Facility is old, (2) you need to bear additional cost, such as Overnight Self Parking 37.00, and (2) Property Amenity Fee 25.00, (3) Property Amenity Fee City Occupancy Tax 3.00, that are not cheap. Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice!"

"Love this hotel. Great location and fairly new. Always stay here when we visit Berkeley. But price is getting higher since the operator converted part of the hotel to student housing. Harder to book too."

"We rent a car for our 8 days family travel to Berkeley. The holiday inn provides free parking, and this is the most important customer service of our decision to select this hotel. The front-desk staff is helpful. In the public parking lot of fisherman's wharf, it costs 10 dollars for one-hour parking. The breakfast is free and a good complimentary service for all customers. The laundry machine is located at the first floor and very convenient for family travel customers. The only thing is that I had got to find a good time to use this machine or spend hours in waiting. In total, we enjoyed a good stay at this hotel."

"Bart stood out for a few minutes and was close to Berkeley University. The boss was very good. There is a refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle in the room, and the toiletries are Neutrogena. It is the soundproofing, the sound of the walk upstairs is very clear, surrounded by McDonald's, 85 degrees C, Chinese restaurants, supermarkets, it is convenient."

"A simple four-star hotel. Although it has central air conditioning, it is still a bit noisy. The walls are not soundproof enough. The cleaning staff only speaks Spanish and not English. Parking is at the parking lot next door for $23 a day. It is better than a motel in that it is a little quieter. The coffee provided is good. Also, the water seems to be purified and better than the average water in California."

"The location is a bit far from downtown Berkeley, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.However, I was surprised that the car noise was loud on the road right in front of me. Breakfast was served in a lunch box, and if you choose the food you want, you can bring it to the room on time and eat it comfortably. But I checked out for more than 10 days, and I didn't immediately cancel my deposit."

"This hotel is designed by American architects and she is also the designer of the Chateau Khost. Castle-like lobby, exquisite indoor pool, quiet courtyard.
