"One of the best hotels during my stay in Kyushu region. Super comfortable and staffs are very welcoming. Room is spacious with a lot of walking space. Located next to Beppu Station and super accessible to nearby shops and everything, with a Lawson and Family Mart within 2 mins of walk. The best part of this hotel is the whole building is on tatami mats as it is my favorite. There is 7 private onsens here so there's no need to rush for it although there might be a queue for it, but it queues for a short while only. Will definitely come back here again if I visit Beppu and try other Onyado Nono in other regions."

"Sekiya Resort is a masterclass in details. A gem for any archirecture enthusiasts- brutalist architecture is softened by thoughtful artistic touches, like the sculptures found at every lift landing. Upon arrival, the reception greets you with soaring glass walls that frame the entirety of Beppu below. My stay was made even more special by a high-floor corner room—the sea and city views were simply magnificent. There is nothing quite like the luxury of a private in-room onsen where you can soak and take in the sprawling city vistas in total serenity. Shuttle bus service is avaliable with advance reservation. The dinner and breakfast were an absolute delight. Good quality, well thought out menu deserves a special mention here. Highly recommended."

"The check-in process was smooth. There was no room card provided; instead, I was given a password to access my room, which was stated on a formal document. Be sure to take a photo of the password and keep it safe, as you’ll need it throughout your stay. Since there is no room card, there is also no formal check-out process—simply vacate the room by your designated check-out date and time. The room was spacious and well-equipped with full amenities, including a water dispenser, clothes-hanging space, a balcony, a TV, and a bathtub. There was no housekeeping service during my stay, so you’ll need to keep the room clean yourself. However, the hotel staff kindly placed fresh towels and new amenities in a basket outside the room daily for guests to use. The hotel is located near Beppu Station, although it requires a bit of walking to get there. A Don Quijote (Donki) store is conveniently located just opposite the hotel. For convenience stores, you’ll need to walk a little further in the direction of Beppu Tower. The hotel also offers a welcome drink at the lobby and has coin-operated laundry dryers on the first floor. Additionally, there is a washing machine available in the room. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel."
