Ambassador Playa I

Have stayed at the Ambassador before and this time was just as good, food was amazing and always plenty of choice. Rooms are spacious and love the walk in shower, paid extra for a pool view and well worth it, all staff I came into contact with were lovely, looking forward to returning next year

The rooms, aircon didn't work properly, tv only had 2 English channels, the sinks were so small like having a wash in a saucer, pillows were cheap and nasty so uncomfortable. Restaurant, hot food was always cold no mater what time you went and under cooked, the Restaurant staff handling the food never wore blue food grade clovers. Plates and cutlery were not the cleanist. Outside bar staff were not the very friendly. Last 2 days ended up with bad food poisoning ruined the holiday, this was the only place we ever ate or drank so l know it was the Ambassador hotel, will never return or recommend to anybody.

Lovely hotel staff and food amazing. Family of 8 stayed for my daughters 40th birthday. Amanda on reception is a star she sorted our return transfer as Loveholidays made a massive mistake with our booking will never book with them ever again

This was my first time to Benidorm and I loved it. The hotel was excellent. Very clean and stylish. The food was really good and plenty of choices. Entertainment very good. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Ambassador Playa for a lovely stay.

Superb hotel, rooms are spacious and spotless with great bathroom and shower and a balcony, food is just so good, buffet style but plenty of choice and great quality, lovely pool area with its own poolside bar , location is perfect for the nightlife and for the beach second time here and just as good as the first already planning trip 3

Just love this Hotel everything about it best ever.Booked already for next year. The rooms are beautiful lovely big shower.Entertament out side on the stage still.Amazing breakfast lots of choices for dinner.The reception staff a great efficient in every way.The staff do an amazing job in the restaurant and bars big shout out to all .well done Ambassador Gail Townsend

We have stayed in the ambassador about 5/6 times and keep going back, however we are contemplating trying a new hotel next year just based on how busy it was during our stay this year. Don’t get me wrong - we love the hotel but found breakfast very busy and the sunbed situation isn’t ideal. People seem to come in from nearby apartments to use the pool facilities and this isn’t patrolled. I feel like the hotel should maybe give wrist bands or something to paying guests so that they are the only ones that can use the sunbeds. I know nearby hotels like the flash do this. If you want a specific sunbed, parasol, and table you will need to queue from 8am. We stayed on level 1 as requested but the noise from the street and the bottles from the bar below being emptied were very loud and this went on all night and into the day. Again not an issue but one of our party took ill and was unable to get any sleep due to this. We always prefer a low down room anywhere we stay so we can just use the stairs rather than lifts. Rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels left. Reception staff/pool bar staff & explorers bar staff friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the cooking station at breakfast. The pool bar is nice to sit at in the afternoon with good selection of food and drinks. Explorers bar is also great for watching football and plenty of seating. Recommend making use of the spa downstairs - you get 2 hours and the pool is fantastic. The hotel is in a fabulous location and I definitely will come back at some stage - I do recommend it. Just take some of what I’ve said on board.

This was oir third time at the hotel so obviously we like it and will return on many occasions if we can. The hotel is in a wonderful position ..clean …staff great. The bad points are as per any Benidorm hotel we have stayed in over the years …need to get up very early and queue for a parasol….food a bit samey and average at best. However, as said, we will be back.
