Sandos Benidorm Suites

Guests enjoy a wide breakfast buffet, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. The location near the beach and top-notch facilities contribute to an enjoyable stay. However, no negative points were mentioned in the reviews.

Disappointing… not a 4star. Check-in good, staff helpful, well located room. Large & spacious room in need of modernisation, new bedding, nets, curtains & bathroom. Sheets were old and bedding poor quality. However room was clean & bed comfortable. Food was lukewarm, odd combinations, poor cuts of meat & ends of fish. Lunches were better quality than dinner. Saving grace was the snack bar & crisps at the bar. Evening bar was overly bright & too much light on until 945pm. Queues at both bars & staff saying “get in Q” … some bar staff less happy and accommodating than others. Ceiling in dining room in need of urgent maintenance & unfortunately the storm meant floods in various entertainment & dining areas. Hard working staff … morale could be better. I’ve stayed with this group before (Sandos) albeit some years ago. But unfortunately this stay was disappointing. Hotel is very tired and needs some attention. Pool area ok … sunbeds a plenty. Some guests grumbling, others raving about how great it was. To each their own.

Stayed at Sandos Benidorm Suites for a week in October/November and had a great time. Checked in at 1ish but our room wasn’t ready but we were given our All Inclusive wristbands and had lunch and some drinks while we waited. Checked in at 2.30 and the process was quick and easy. We were on the 20th floor. So occasionally had to wait a few minutes for the lift, but not too long. Room was a great size for the three of us. Although there used to be a small kitchen area which was closed off by a decorative door. Might be worth getting rid of the kitchen or making them usable again. There was a fridge, kettle and two mugs. Nothing else. Tea and coffee is available from the bar. We liked that the balcony was accessible from the living room and bedroom. Plus the balcony was really big with a table and two chairs and also two sun loungers. View was great as long as you didn’t look left as it’s just a bit of a wasteland. All staff were fantastic. Food in the restaurant was standard all inclusive. Always something to eat. Desserts were great. Pool area was brilliant. Plenty of room and always sunbeds available. Might be a different story in summer. Location was ideal for us. About a 15 minute walk to the beach. Slight incline on the way back but plenty of places to stop for a drink if needed. If you book a package holiday and have a transfer included you may not get dropped off outside the hotel. We got dropped off and picked up outside Flamingo Beach Resort which was a couple of minutes walk away. All in all we had a great time as a family of three.
