Premier Inn Durham East

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel last Saturday night. I had reserved four rooms for a party of seven, and unfortunately, we experienced disturbances at 6 AM on Sunday morning due to significant noise from a nearby group of guests. It appears that the structure of the building allows for sound to travel easily between rooms, in addition to the plumbing, which produced a persistent noise resembling a dull whistle. Furthermore, I was surprised to discover that we were unable to contact the reception, as there were no telephones available in the rooms. While I understand this may be part of a modern design approach, the lack of USB charging ports also posed a challenge, as it limited our ability to use our mobile devices for communication. We had to look the hotels number up on the website to call and complain to reception. We were told the noisy party had just left. The disturbances left us feeling quite unsettled the following day, which was particularly challenging given our long drive back to London.

I am kind of people who is quite OCD about cleanliness. I can say Im so impressed by the cleanliness of the room. You can’t find any hairs or crisps from last customer. The bathroom is clean and neat without any mold in the corner of bathtub or on the shower curtain. I am very happy staying in Durham East Hotel. Highly recommended!

Received a lovely welcome after quite a long journey. After settling in, I went to reception and asked for some advice about driving into Durham City Centre and parking and they were so helpful. Location to both the motorway and the City Centre was great. It was lovely to stay somewhere easily accessible to the City without having to pay extra for parking. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was quite hot but there was a fan in the room already provided, so I didn't have to request it. I was a little concerned about how noisy it would be staying here with traffic but it was surprisingly quiet. I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area.

Received a very warm welcome, the food was first class especially the breakfast which was cooked to order.

We were visiting family and needed a place to stay. Premium Inn Durham East is ideal for this. Near where we wanted to be. Room was comfortable and had what we required. Lovely bed and pillows for a good nights sleep. We have stayed many times before and the rooms are getting a little tired, however they are better than their competitors.

Could not fault this hotel staff were fantastic especially David he couldn’t do enough to help the rooms were perfect and beds were so comfy had breakfast at the beefeater next door and could not fault that either staff were very helpful and friendly too
