Hotel was very expensive.

This must be the most beautiful hotel and not just because of its fantastic views, grand location and grounds, but because of the incredible people working there! We felt like part of their family, always taken care of and always met with a smile and warmth. A home way from home! Also worth mentioning is the bar and the incredible gin experience, one of the kind, just as the people behind it! We will definitely be returning!

We were advised that this experience would be “Over the Top” but unfortunately found that it did not lead up to its reputation. In my life have never been more disappointed and left appetizers and main course unfinished. I would not recommend this restaurant perhaps only to my worst enemy.

This is my 2 nd visit to this fabulous hotel this yr and my 2 nd review . One is greeted on arrival by the very charming Guest relations manager Frederica who escorts you to your room and answers any queries you may have . The staff treat you like a member of the Serbelloni family . And that’s what this hotel is … an extension of the Bucher family since 1918. Such longevity is so rarely found today . The facilities are outstanding whether it be the pool , fitness centre , breakfast room and 2 restaurants. Mistral in particular under the care of Luca is outstanding. And then there is the private garden and a view to die for … but not yet !

Everything about this hotel was top notch. Outstanding service especially by the very helpful guest relations personnel Francesca(?) and the very lovely wait staff/server, Mandolina(?) who delightfully helped celebrate my birthday. A perfect stay at a perfect location at a perfect hotel.

Customer service was not on par with a luxury hotel. I was supposed to travel to lake Como with a group of people including my husband and close friends. Due to airline cancellations we were unable to make it to the hotel. The customer service we received was terrible and totally unsympathetic to our issue. We asked several times for a credit for future travel and were repeatedly denied. It was an incredibly frustrating and sad experience.

Management was completely unhelpful with issues we had traveling to the hotel. They claimed that they have a strict policy to protect them from cancellation and were completely unwilling to help us when an unexpected incident with our airline prevented us from getting to the hotel

We spent the afternoon drinking and enjoying the spectacular views of lake como at the bar. Anne-Belle was our waitress and she made our experience truly unforgettable. We felt truly taken care of and will return to this very special place in Bellaggio. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants their lives to be better than they were before.
