We arrived early and were accommodated. Our rooms were nicely appointed. We were only there, for one nite. The bar area was not open, but it looked nice. We were not aware of the continental breakfast. We walked down the street to a Cafe and had dinner. Gary was great in getting luggage to our rooms as they have no elevators. They had a nice pool. But we didn't get the chance to enjoy it. The front staff were accommendating. Over all a nice place in Belize city.

Very nice historic hotel within 5 minute walking distance of water taxi, tourism sites, restaurants, lighthouse, and Belize Sign. Rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are clean with good water pressure and hot water. Refrigerator and coffee maker in room. They have rooms with a view, and interior rooms. Staff was friendly and helped carry your luggage to 2nd floor rooms. A taxi can be scheduled at the reception desk, if needed to go to the airport. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night. From outside the house is really nice. The rooms are having a certain flair. But my travel partner was allergic against something in our room. The location is pretty central. Unfortunately the village is "closed" on Sundays. The offered Breakfast was not worth any price to pay. The Restaurant was only available for breakfast. The official room rates are from my point of view far too overpriced.

The reception staff and were helpful, welcoming, friendly and all around excellent The Inn is cute with seating areas just outside each room. Breakfast was more of a snack than a meal, but sometimes it's the thought that counts. Unfortunately (not the property's fault) there's reomodeling of a multifloor hotel across the street so the view from the Inn was a little unappealing. The area around the Inn felt safe, the staff and cleanliness were so wonderful, I would definitely stay again.

Such a quaint place to stay. Very clean and all staff incredibly friendly. Stephanie was exceptional. Gave us great places to eat and always helpful with all our questions. The outside area was beautiful. The Continental breakfast was always delicious.

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning and again at the end of our Belize trip. The first night was fine, nothing special but in a large upstairs room with nice windows, light, and air. The last night was booked in what was billed as a “superior” room, larger and more expensive—it was the only room available. It was not superior. The room (#5) was interior, next to the front desk, almost no windows, harsh lighting, a small bed with no room for a bedside table on one side. There isn’t much to choose from in Belize City, but we looked at a comparably priced room in the Raddison across the street and would choose there the next time around.

Sparkling clean, comfortable mattress, coffee pot in room, steaming hot shower, generous size towels, breakfast with fresh fruit, waterfront and restaurant nearby! The Great House Inn satisfied all our needs the nights after arrival and before departure from Belize. Tourists are not advised to spend time in Belize City but I enjoyed visiting the museum and an art gallery.

I stayed in this lovely old wooden building twice, and it was ideal. Really comfortable big rooms, with great showers and really luxurious, and very welcome, beds after a long flight. Water is provided in the room, you can buy refrigerated drinks from reception, and a cold buffet breakfast is included in the room price. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is just in such a good location...right by the ocean, and the Belize sign (if you are a selfie taker), within easy walking distance of the centre, and just a short stroll to the port area, bars and restaurants. Its right by the Radisson...so dont let anyone tell you, if you are coming off a cruise ship that you need a taxi to either hotel. even with luggage...its a 6 minute walk. We managed it in ankle deep water and torrential rain...what larks! i really recommend this hotel.

The Great House Inn was the most lovely way to start my Belize vaca! My friend and I stayed for two nights before venturing to the islands and then inland, and they made our stay amazing. The rooms were so comfortable, the showers were great, and the balcony was lovely to enjoy a drink a book. We went across the street for dinner at the Radisson and took a short cab ride to Birds Isle for drinks and lunch. They helped us get cabs, had beers and soda for sale, and had a lovely clean pool. If you're in Belize City this is 10000% the place to stay!
