Le Joy Hotel

My stay at Beijing Grand Joy Hotel was delightful and comfortable. Front desk manager Xiao Shen helped me with everyday matters and even offered complimentary drinks during the summer. I was also granted a late checkout, which was much appreciated. Everything was excellent. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a gym, swimming pool, and plenty of dining options. The room was comfortable, spacious, and well-lit. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Beijing again.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Joy Hotel this time. The location is convenient for commuting, the room is bright and spacious, and all the facilities are well-equipped. There's a humidifier and air purifier for guests' convenience. The butler service was patient, and the check-in process was smooth. It's a great place to relax and unwind, and definitely my top choice for travel. I highly recommend Joy Hotel.

The deluxe king room was quite nice, but I'm mainly going to talk about the executive king room we stayed in. The air conditioning vents were moldy! This was truly a first for me. The maintenance staff seemed to take it seriously, immediately giving it a quick clean with alcohol. I called the front desk at 11 PM to report the moldy A/C vents, and the lobby manager actually called me back around 11 PM to apologize, saying they'd send two fruit platters the next day. We were checking out the next day, so what was the point? Didn't breakfast already have fruit? Then they offered a complimentary child's breakfast. Do we really need that small amount of money? The voice on the phone sounded very sincere, but I didn't see any sincerity in their actions. The duvet was folded once and laid flat on the bed – another first for me in terms of how bedding is arranged. The supposedly 'heated' swimming pool is actually part of a gym in the adjacent mall, which is extremely inconvenient. Plus, there were restrictions on which lane you could swim in, and the water was very cold. The pictures were completely misleading. The breakfast deserves praise; the overall quality was good, and the staff were very friendly and tried their best to cater to our needs. The maintenance staff also had excellent attitudes and service. In summary, a Trip.com 5-diamond rating is not a 5-star hotel. Only the breakfast and the maintenance staff's service lived up to the price. Everything else was concerning.

This place is amazing! It's like something out of a novel; I felt like Granny Liu visiting the Grand View Garden for the first time. Definitely worth it. It's right next to Joy City, so the location is fantastic. There were still plenty of food delivery options even at 2 or 3 in the morning, which was incredibly convenient.

We stayed at the Grand Joy Hotel for three nights during the summer holiday and were very satisfied with our overall experience. The hotel is quite new and ideally located in the Xidan business district, making it super convenient for dining and subway access. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. A special thanks to Bai Yanling at the front desk. We added her on WeChat upon check-in, and when we reported a slight odor from the toilet the next day, she immediately upgraded us to an Executive Suite. Her service was attentive and excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing.

Five-star review! This stay was particularly heartwarming, and I especially want to commend Beibei at the front desk. Beibei checked us in on our first night in Beijing. She was warm and welcoming, and spoke so gently. Seeing that we had a child with us, she thoughtfully gave us a small electric fan, which was incredibly considerate given the hot Beijing weather. During our stay, she even proactively contacted us via WeChat, letting us know we could reach out to her anytime if we needed anything. On our departure day, we were delayed at the Summer Palace, and Beibei went above and beyond to help us get a late check-out, solving a real problem for us. Meeting such a kind and attentive staff member during our trip truly warmed our hearts. Beijing is a city worth visiting again and again, and next time we're here, we'll definitely choose Joy City Hotel again, and I hope we get to see Beibei! Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my family. Sunny, who checked us in, was very considerate and thoughtful. She specially arranged all our rooms on the same floor and even upgraded our room types. She also helped us get the underground parking fee waived, which was a great help! The hotel's location and environment are both excellent. We'll definitely come back next time we need a place to stay!
