This is a cute tucked-in-a -corner type of hostel. Like a bed and breakfast. The room us a bit cold in December but it didnt deter me from coming back next year around August ir September. Not easy to find off the main road but following the map helps. The husband & wife team are excellent host and accomodating. I had problem ordering a taxi to Beijing and they helped me ordered a local cab within minutes. They went Abode and beyond

The B&B is located at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall It is quite large and probably has more than 100 rooms We checked in on the afternoon after climbing the Great Wall.It takes 15 minutes to walk from the exit of the Great Wall to the B&B.The transportation is quite convenient. Two buffet breakfasts were provided,with fresh ingredients. The room is located on the first floor, clean and tidy.There is a hot spring bath in the room,a swimming pool in the yard,and small animals to feed,which the children praised. The only downside is that there are few choices for lunch and dinner. This B&B is pretty good and I recommend it.

The location is perfect if you wanna visit the Badaling Great Wall. Water pressure is awesome, the bed is comfortable. Paid additional 18 yuan for the classic Chinese breakfast. General impression is good.

The next day, they changed us to another room without saying a word o(^▽^)o And there is food when you go out! After dinner in the evening, you can walk around the village to watch the sunset. Really nice hotel! It’s located in Chadao Ancient Village next to Badaling! The walk to the free shuttle bus to the Great Wall is nice, takes about 10 minutes. The village is beautiful, so many family run b&bs around. At nights, there are lots of bbq places to choose from. You can also order from a fried chicken place! There are a few little shops in the village. They don’t speak English, but they can add you on wechat! They helped me find a place for a covid test & told me how to get the Great Wall! The room was a nice, the bed was ok. The room was a little dirty! The pool was only for certain rooms.

We had an awesome time at this Homestay. The hosts were friendly and nice. I took my mom and dad who are staying in Beijing for a week, if you want a fun cultural experience, stay here. We did during the winter and even with freezing temperatures they had heated floor and heated bed. We had dinner upon arrival and food was amazing, breakfast was amazing soup and was delivered to our room. Great stay and fun time.
