Residence Inn Chicago Midway Airport

Comfortable, quiet, and family friendly hotel with a free shuttle to the Midway airport. This was the most economical option to tour Chicago for our family, as the kids could have their own room, and the kitchen gave us the option of preparing food. We woke up early and took the shuttle to Midway airport, then took the Orange Line train into the loop/millenium park. It was amazing to not have to park or deal with traffic. We spent the entire day in the city, and took the train back. The hotel has an indoor pool, and the neighborhood is full of good, modestly priced family restaurants that deliver through Uber eats. (Lou Malnati’s had terrific deep dish pizza.)

We were in town over the July 4th holiday with our teenage granddaughter. The hotel is located in a hotel complex so you must navigate through it to find the Residence Inn. Easy enough to do, but an FYI so you are not looking for it right off the street. The hotel is either relatively new and/or very well maintained. It has an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit and a barbecue grill that can be used by guest. We stayed in their corner 1 bedroom suite which is larger and has the feature of separate bathroom access (Our granddaughter did not have to enter our bedroom to access the bathroom)!!! The room was clean and spacious. The fold out bed for our granddaughter had a very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was excellent with a different breakfast meat(s) along with eggs, waffles or pancakes, cereals, juices... My only negative comment would be that even though I have Lifetime Gold Status and the 1 bedroom corner suite was available for the entire length of my stay, I had to request the upgrade and the person at the desk seemed to be unsure rather she could give it to me. She checked with her manager, and we were upgraded without any further discussion. No harm, no foul. All in all, a fantastic stay, and we would most definitely stay again!!

The staff is outstanding!! Manny helped us with our reservations and was extremely accommodating. Diana at front desk and Curtis in housekeeping were also so pleasant and helpful. BJ who worked the breakfast made my elderly parents feel special and always laughed at my Dad’s jokes which he loves!! Thank you to the entire staff wish I could remember all of their names!! The girls working the front desk the morning and afternoon were so accommodating to us and our family that came to spend time with us at the hotel. Thanks for helping to make a special time even more memorable!! I definitely would recommend this hotel and it’s near to EVERYTHING!!! Christine

This is the best hotel ever stayed at. Their service is fabulous and everyone is so professional and hospitable. Best 9 months I spent there. ♥️♥️ it's literally a mini apartment. Had a fully furnished kitchen, desk, dining table, 1 bedroom, sectional couch with sofa bed. Truly a beautiful comfortable room. Thanks for a great stay.

We traveled to Chicago for surgery and wanted more than just a hotel room for the required recuperation period afterwards. Our stay at the Midway Airport Residence Inn was exactly what was needed. Everything from start to finish was outstanding - our room, the terrific and friendly service, pleasant public spaces, and of course the excellent breakfast buffet. Even though the hotel was virtually filled to capacity the entire time we were there, it was never crowded or noisy. This is obviously a well-run property with an excellent staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable - a perfect home away from home for recuperating after surgery.

Great hotel, staff is super nice. I will always stay here when I'm in the area! They have a wide selection for breakfast, super clean rooms, and we love the basketball court & pool!

I stayed in the summer and it was an excellent experience. Front desk very welcoming, housekeeping very friendly. Patio and fire pit is very convenient to just sit out and relax. I really enjoyed myself.

My stay here was absolutely amazing! The staff was very accommodating and always tried to be as helpful as possible. The breakfast was very good and the hotel seemed very clean. The location was prime for the event we were going to and had many great stores and restaurants surrounding the area. Will definitely stay here again!

The rooms and staff were amazing. They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely stay again. They were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice as to where to eat and see events that we were interested in.
