The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. They made my hubby a marguerita cocktail for our anniversary meal, even though it wasn't on the the menu, and provided ice for my knee injury. Housekeeping kept our room stocked with all necessities, reception staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Even the guy who came to fix our lamp was friendly and informative. Food was good, though could have been a bit warmer on occasions, room was excellent, though we did have the Kingfisher Suite! We paid a bit over the odds but it was worth it for the attentive staff and great service. I would visit again

The scenery at the door is very beautiful, there are rivers, parks, big geese, flowers and grass.
It is also convenient to eat downstairs, there are many customers, and the voice is full. The first floor is all a restaurant, and there are many tables outside.
But it's bad to eat downstairs to facilitate business. At 8 o'clock in the evening, I wanted to go to bed early because of the time difference, but my head kept buzzing, and my headache collapsed, especially lying on the bed. It felt like the sound of a certain machine, I thought it was a fresh air system. To the corridor, I found the whole corridor was this louder sound.
Knowing that changing rooms is the same effect, but I can't resist the enthusiastic suggestion of Miss Ctrip, I went down to the front desk. People say it is kitchen equipment. Ha! I can say that there is a problem with the structure of this house, and the resonance is so obvious. This is the rhythm that makes people stand in the room. The front desk said the kitchen would stop after 10 o'clock.
No way, go to the restaurant downstairs to have a cocktail, and stay up until 10 o'clock to go to bed.
In the future, the hotel should be cautious about this kind of large-scale restaurant on the first floor.

When I arrived the self-check in was fine but no map of the place or signage to rooms meant I had to ask other guests to direct me. There was no-one on reception or to be seen other than this kind couple. Later I went to get a drink and found that the bar was closed and had to order it after hunting down a member of staff. When they said I couldn't just pay for my beer but needed to pre-authorise my credit card for £50 (so I would need to check it before I left in the morning) I thought I would just go to a local pub and asked where I might find one. The main doors were locked and the only exits where via the car park or a dark scrubby alley. Needless to say as a lone female I didn't fancy this. I decided I didn't need a beer that much...I turned to go back to my room and a kind waiter took pity on me and got a beer for me and allowed me to just pay for it. No idea why this wasn't possible for the receptionist to agree to? Didn't love it. Maybe it is better on a week night.

My granddaughter had a fifth birthday party so I booked a stay for the night to save the sixty miles journey back to Essex . Maths came into this and holiday inn came top of the pile with breakfast thrown in so a no brainer . But as you can see by my ratings for cleanliness etc this hotel is way better than you would expect . The room we had was very nicely decorated and spotless. The bathroom was the same but there are tiny little details that might go unnoticed, like the bath towels are size xl and the shower is quality , the bed mattress is top quality . I could go on , but for my money I feel I got every penny . Breakfast was buffet style , so cereal , full English ,tea coffee juice , fruit , eat as much as you like . Microwave in reception , where else do you see that ? Reception toilets spotless. This is an eye opener for me as travelodge used to be my go to . But no more
Unwind in style at our Bedford hotel, in one of our new generation bedrooms with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly-updated bathroom with large shower head, and king-size Hypnos bed. After a great night's sleep, answer the call of the wild - the hotel is just a cheetah's dash from Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey. You'll also be right on the spot for the many other big business venues and leisure attractions in the area.

Stayed for one night, the hotel itself was a basic one, clean room and inside, it's a busy services as Shell is open 24hr! Greggs and burger king nearby, about 1 minutes walk, not much there as being on the motorway for a long day the hotel was handy. Thanks to the team Hani and others for the warm welcome.

GGuest UserAnother comfy stay in a clean room easy to work in. Lovely food too and the reliably consistent helpful staff.
At least 3 times a year a group if us go for a quilting retreat. All the feedback is so positive. Great staff, friendly, welcoming, flexible. So clean and food- overfed and so much choice. Booked for 3 events in 2023 already and about to book for 2024. So glad we found this place.
I'll start with the good - there was plenty of parking and the bed was comfortable! As for the rest of the Willows, the building is old, the inside is tired, run down and in need of complete refurbishment - as a bare minimum, the whole place needs a really good clean. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and at best functional. The carpets in the corridors are rucked up and serious trip hazards; the fire doors have holes in them where handles have been changed (what sort of fire door is that?). You get the gist... They are understaffed - we had to wander around the building trying to find someone to serve us at the bar on our first night. On the second night, there were just 2 young and inexperienced staff behind the bar despite there being a function for over 100 people. The wait was ridiculous, the staff didn't know their red wines from their white, and the drinks were overpriced - £1.70 for a dash of blackcurrant, £6.50 for a pint of beer! As for security, it's a joke. On returning to our room one evening we found that the cleaner had opened the window and left it wide open all day - and I mean WIDE open. Bearing in mind the room was on the ground floor, anyone could have climbed in and helped themselves to our belongings. The whole experience is one I would not choose to repeat. I have just tried to fill in the customer experience questionnaire, which Wyboston Lakes emailed a link for - but guess what... the link doesn't work! That sums up Wyboston Lakes and the Willows.
KKhooEvery nook and cranny in The White Hart oozes grand antiquity and contemporary retrofitting has ensured comfort instead of a dated environ usually synonymous with aged structures.
The White Hart hits the right buttons with tasteful decor and attention to details.
There’re ‘gargles’ from old pipes probably and a cranky air-conditioner but I’m too tired to take note. I’m aware only because I’m a light sleeper.
The only drawback was the overly long prep time for my breakfast, which I had to miss unfortunately due to a lack of time. Nonetheless the manager on duty exercised discretion for not charging me for a take-out lunch requested when I’m seated for breakfast.
GGuest UserVery helpful friendly reception staff , we couldn’t get in the main restaurant so they called “The willows “ which was on the same site to make sure we could get food there and also watch the football which was what interested my son. Room was lovely, clean, comfy huge bed and lovely powerful shower in the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was buffet, constantly topped up with fresh food. Lovely quiet setting would definitely come back but would make sure we arrived in time to use the pool.
GGuest UserI stayed here with over a hundred colleagues as part of a national annual conference. It was convenient having a room in the same building as the conference rooms as I did not have far to go at the end of a long day. There are a number conference rooms of varying sizes which was useful for break out areas/ smaller meetings. The phone signal and general connectivity is terrible and really let the venue down. Our plenary sessions were disrupted by videos that could not be played, poor audio and trying to make a phone call was very difficult. This really needs to be sorted. My room was basic but not very clean. There was a long hair in the shower, sticky bathroom floor with some suspicious looking stains. I asked for this to be cleaned on my way to dinner, returned to find it was exactly the same. All our rooms were single occupancy but the single beds had not been put together to make a double for more comfort, unsure why and when I requested this, it still was not done. The ventilation is poor, the smoke alarm went off as I dried my hair with the blow dryer. Staff turned up promptly to investigate and I overheard them say it was likely a shower that had triggered the alarm which suggests a known problem. As a mother reviewer mentioned the shower pressure is non existent, it was like trying to have a shower with. cup of water. The food offerings were poor and I was pleased to return home to my own bed after two nights. Next time I might be better off staying at the nearby Premier inn where some colleagues stayed.
