Nice place it was really clean

This is not my first trip here. It’s my go to stay when I’m coming through the area. Located near the interstate, it’s a very nice hotel. The beds are comfortable, the room is nice, & it’s always clean.

I started to write a review about this Holiday Inn two months ago when I attempted to stay here but I decided against it. I've never had an experience like this hotel and have since stayed at a number of other hotels, all with great experiences, however, this Holiday Inn was absolutely not a great experience. I booked through Priceline and had already paid before arriving at the hotel. The lady checking me in ran payment on my card again and told me payment had declined. Payment did not decline because I still have the charge on my card two months later. In fact, I have two charges on my card - the original from Priceline and the one from Holiday Inn itself. They wouldn't cancel my reservation but they definitely sure took my money (twice). I ended up booking a hotel right down the street and stayed there with no issues at all. Since this experience, I've avoided Holiday Inns altogether. And I'd absolutely avoid this one.

Had a great stay. We were greeted nicely and the front desk was helpful. I had a very quiet night and slept soundly. The bed was comfortable too. I am glad we picked this location and would recommend it to others. We were in town for a brief time but it was good to have somewhere to lay our heads

I always try to stay at a Holiday Inn. I chose this hotel because it is Holiday Inn and 5 minutes from Downtown Beaumont. Hotel is right off I-10. Hotel is all gated except for entrance in front. I would however suggest parking near front entrance due to the area the hotel is located in. Hotel is very clean. Someone was always working in lobby and other areas like pressure washing back cement. I asked for a later checkout due to a scheduled test that next a.m. and was able to checkout later than 11am. Hotel has restaurant, no complimentary breakfast. There is also a section by front desk to buy snacks and drinks. There are at least 2 restaurants nearby that I seen from hotel that are in walking distance. Halls all smelled clean. Room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was stocked with everything we needed...no need to ask for anything. Good selection of channels on television. Pool area could use some curve appeal. Nothing fancy...just functional. I will return this month for testing again and chose this hotel for my stay.

A very basic hotel. The room #223 was clean and the staff was friendly. The little extra things i come to expect when visiting Holiday Inn such as the soaps, mouth wash etc were all missing. Outlets for the desk area and for my C Pap machine next to the bed were no existent. The windows had what appeared to be splatters of mud on the windows which wasn't appreciated. The lamp in the corner of the room fell in a shower of sparks and landed on our 7 year old's head at 7 am while we prepared for the day. Thankfully he wasn't injured by I got shocked when I went to remove it as it was still plugged into the wall while the wires hung out of it. The staff seemed a bit dubious at first following me out the door to my car as I was about to drive my wife to a business meeting. The midnight desk employee "Jeff" thought I was "taking off on them" and said he had to "keep track of me". I thought that was strange as he had my credit card information already. I assured him that I was returning because I was going to make sure they weren't going to charge me for a busted lamp which nearly electrocuted our son. Later during check out, the day desk clerk announced they weren't going to charge me for the lamp which prompted me to laugh out loud. They are fortunate that my son didn't get injured. Over all, besides the lamp drama, and over reacting Jeffrey the desk clerk, the place served it's purpose. Would I return here? I hope not!
