El recuerdo central de esta estancia fue el olor a humo de cigarro. Tuvimos que quejarnos. Por lo demás, es un hotel antiguo y eso se siente. La ubicación es bastante buena, de fácil acceso, pero el recuerdo central es el olor incómodo que tuvimos al llegar.

Juste bien pour une étape. L'hôtel était quasiment vide, ils nous ont donné une chambre avec vue sur le parking et la station service alors que de l'autre côté il y avait vue sur l'eau, dommage. Chambre correct, mais salle de douche très petite et vieillissante. Petit dej simple.

The owner of this hotel is a thief. Yes, it is a Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels property, but the hotels are individually owned. Someone hacked into my Choice Hotels account and stole almost 100,000 reward points and used them at this hotel. After a bit of research, I discovered the scam. The owner (thief) books rooms (that will never actually be occupied by anyone) and uses the stolen reward points to pay for the unoccupied rooms. Then the owner (thief) turns around and bills Choice Hotels for reimbursement of the reward night rooms. I am still in the process of gathering evidence, but when I have enough, I'm going to visit Beaufort, SC and hand everything over to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. In the meantime, be very careful about keeping an eye on your Choice Hotels account and any credit cards you use at this property.

Stayed for a few days with family for the Marine Corps graduation. Staff was nice and hotel was quiet. No complaints. Worth the money and peace of mind. I would stay again if I had to come back down

I made the reservation through a third party app. Big mistake! That made it non refundable. This place was disgusting! We did not know a festival was going on so rooms in town were limited. When we walked in the room, you were hit in the face with smell of mold, dirt and mildew on all the lampshades. There was a cardboard air freshener stuck inside the air conditioner. A dehumidifier was running but then quit. I was afraid to touch the floor even with socks on. We slept in our clothes and I pulled my shirt up over my mouth and nose most of the night. By the condition of the room,no way way I going to partake of their free breakfast. Will never stay at a Sleep Inn again!

My rating of 4 indicates I felt this Sleep Inn was up to the Choice Hotels standard for this brand. I'd rate it 5 if it was above expectations. So there were few surprises here except for a small adventure at check in. I'd reserved a room with a single king and requested first floor, since we're seniors with ouchy knees. I was informed that there were no single king rooms on the ground level (seems that hotels don't want to put single kings on the lower floor) and so we took a room with two queens, no issue. But I guess a lot of guests were getting moved around, and when I tried to use my room key it didn't work--and then the person who was already in that room banged on the inside of the door and scared me out of my wits. I guess, being in South Carolina, I'm lucky I didn't get shot. At any rate, the desk clerk had already realized her error and handed me a key to an unoccupied room immediately when I got back to the office. The rest of the stay was uneventful. Comfy bed, room big enough to spread out a little, typical breakfast buffet. I usually try to book the more upscale hotels but this location was convenient and I have no real complaints.

This place is a complete hole.. stinks from the moment you walk in, the bathroom door was broken, AC was trash and to top everything off it was full of cockroaches.. I had trouble getting a refund, Mack and Mike the managers like to play games with you..this place is totally a zero star and needs to be closed for a super long cleaning.. you have been warned! Picture don’t look like this place at all, I would recommend sleeping in a car before staying in that place! 🥲

The hotel needs to be updated its dirty everywhere. Its not comfortable because you see and feel that its just dirty everywhere. The carpet turned black already full of dirt. The comforters are yellowish and also the towels. I will not come back

Room was dirty. It’s obvious it has not been cleaned for a long time. There was stains and a chunk of some unknown substance on the wall. The window was cracked open and not able to shut. There was a humidifier in the room! If the weather was hot we would have been miserable because the AC was set to 67 and it felt tepid. Multiple stains on the carpet and the desk chair. Old soap scum on the shower walls. We didn’t even stay the second night even though I paid for it. The only clean thing in the room were the bed sheets. The bed skits had stains too. I wouldn’t let me kids take their socks off. Just horrible. Never again.
