Wonderful hotel within walking distance to the river and historic neighborhoods. They kept my bag for a few hours while I wandered around downtown after check out. The hotel gave me two vouchers for free drinks/snacks at their attached cafe which was wonderful. They also put free chocolate chip cookies on my door handle!
The only downside for me was that the room had a strong (but not unpleasant) perfume fragrance and sometimes you could hear the traffic at night. But it's worth the location and hey, better than smelling like bleach. I'd stay here again 👌

This is our second stay at City Loft. It was every bit as fantastic as the first time. The front desk staff are so welcoming & helpful. The room was spacious, clean & nicely appointed. The soaker tub was fabulous. It was nice to sit on the porch & have an adult beverage. A nice patio had been added since our first visit. It's a great area to people watch, have an appetizer or beverage. The coffee shop has delicious coffees & cocktails, a nice selection of bottled wines & fresh baked goods & sandwiches. It is within walking distance to restaurants, the waterfront & downtown. Bikes are available & the hotel sits by a beautiful & quiet residential neighborhood. One of the best perks is they welcome pets. The hotel is quiet & restful. You will not go wrong staying here.

Excellent place to stay in Beaufort. Very spacious, comfortable, clean room and large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. On site parking and exercise equipment is also available. It is in walking distance to restaurants, attractions, and shopping in the historic district. A patio area with seating and tables and umbrellas is located outside each room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!

A cut above the average Hilton etc. Friendly checkin staff. Comfy bed and big bathroom. Separate shower and bath. Lots of nice extras, robes, fridge with wine (not too expensive) complimentary water. Easy to walk to the Main Street to eat, friendly coffee shop onsite for breakfast (good prices). Fascinating neighbourhood behind the hotel with many big houses with some history.

Awesome little modernized motor lodge. Clean, well decorated, comfortable rooms. Perfect location for downtown and centrally located for the low country. Attached coffee shop and fully stocked bar was a plus. Will be back and recommend!

Room was immaculate, king bed was very comfortable, and bathroom spotless. Cafe style tables on the balcony outside the rooms are a nice feature. Staff is friendly and there is a great coffee shop downstairs. Great proximity to food and shopping. Highly recommended.

Small boutique style hotel. Very unexpected, but very impressed. I love everything about this place, the location, the bath robes, Micka’el who checked me in and Laura, the owner. Cozy beds. Stationary. Big soaking tubs. Rain head shower.

Thank you for another great experience at the City Loft Hotel. It is our favorite place to stay when visiting Beaufort. Great location, friendly staff, and nice rooms….what’s not to love. The chocolate chip cookies and coupons for Java City are a great touch! We will be back!

Wow! This place is hidden GEM! Bed was similar to the Heavenly Bed at Westin Hotels….bathroom large and beautiful! There was amazing little cafe City Java that had coffee and all sorts of amazing food! price so reasonable! Here on business but coming back soon for vacay it’s so cute here
