"Check-in and check-out were fast and smooth. A ₱2,000 deposit was required for three deluxe rooms.
Check-in instructions focused more on penalties than on amenities. The Wi-Fi password was not provided upon check-in and we had to ask for it. Wi-Fi connection was poor, and Globe mobile signal was also weak inside the room. We had to step out to the small balcony to get a signal.
Bathroom amenities were very basic. There were 3 soaps and 3 small containers of shampoo with conditioner. Toothbrush, toothpaste, room slippers, and cotton buds were not provided, so we had to buy these outside. I asked an extra bathroom tissue roll from the housekeeping which they instantly provided.
Drinking water is obtained from a dispenser along the hallway near the elevator. The plastic water container provided in the room was old and had cracks. Cups were made of plastic. Hope they switch to glasses instead.
I initially thought we booked a room in the main beachfront building, but we were assigned to the East Wing. This was acceptable since it is only a few minutes’ walk and conveniently located near the police station and 7-Eleven. But I really thought room were located in MAIN building since title of the room indicated MAIN.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it was difficult to reach the front desk. The first call was dropped, and succeeding calls took some time before being answered. Nonetheless, staff were helpful and cheerful. You'll get to meet them along the hallway, the lobby, and will be greeted always.
Assisted breakfast was typical and simple. Nothing fancy, but portions can be adjusted upon request and the staff were accommodating.
There is a BBQ stand located outside the lobby. The BBQ and kansi were good. You can order for dine-in at their garden area, and the crew were friendly and served well. Prices range from ₱50–₱60 for skewers, and ₱80 for kansi (try this). There are restoa and stores located nearby.
I experienced itchiness on the lower part of the bed near my feet and legs. I am not sure if this was due to bed bugs, but it was uncomfortable. Had to open the duvet and external sheets to manually clean it.
Overall, the stay was acceptable, but improvements in amenities, connectivity, and room comfort would make a big difference."

"The hotel is situated in an excellent location, making it a truly convenient and enjoyable place to stay. The surroundings and accessibility were perfect, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which added greatly to the overall positive experience.
That said, there are a few areas where improvement would make the stay even better. The internet connection could be more reliable and faster, as a stable network is essential for both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, while the property itself is charming, greater attention to regular maintenance and cleanliness would elevate the comfort level. Ensuring that common areas and rooms are consistently well-kept would enhance the impression of quality and care.

"The hotel is located close to the beach, not beachfront but it’s very easy to get to the beach and there’s a shuttle which runs every hour which is great. The personnel is wonderful, super friendly and welcoming. As for the rooms they’re quite big and spacious another big plus, and they’re equipped with everything one needs. My room had the view of the pool. The pool is also quite big and they play music and sell some drinks around the pool , good for relaxing. However the selection of drinks is limited. The only negatives are there’s no gym and breakfast selection is very limited. Otherwise I highly recommend the hotel, my stay was absolutely fantastic!"

Perfect Boracay Stay at Station 1!
We had an amazing time at this hotel in Station 1! The location is unbeatable right on the beautiful white beach, peaceful but still close to restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, cozy, and had a great view. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh every morning. Highly recommend for couples or families looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Will definitely come back!"

"The experience was superb!
We booked two rooms for a three-night stay, and my friend kept praising how excellent the service was. It truly felt like a VIP experience, with staff greeting you warmly every time you entered or left the hotel.
The breakfast was also nice. While the choices were the usual, the cakes tasted exceptionally good.
We also enjoyed the massage—I tried it twice because it was that good.
I truly recommend this hotel and commend the staff for their hospitality.
I just hope they maintain the quality of their rooms, which are still in good condition. There were only some rusty spots in the corners of the bathroom—a little retouching would easily fix that.
All in all, it was a lovely experience."

"Amazing service at this hotel, the staff go above and beyond at every step to help you, and they were extremely polite and friendly the whole stay. The rooms were light and spacious, but I would recommend garden view over the pool view because of a loud fire show that happens poolside every evening at around 8pm. The hotel undersold it's proximity to the beach, it is less than 5 minutes from hotel to the water, and they have a great towel system where you can borrow from the hotel and take it with you. They also have sunbeds on the beach reserved just for hotel guests. The hotel itself has 4 pools, 2 of which are connected to rooms. One pool has the bar attached, and the final pool at the end closest to the beach is quiet (and with less children!) Plenty of sunbeds available with comfortable mats, tables, and umbrellas. The only part of the stay that was underwhelming was the food - the area that the hotel has made for the restaurant is open-air, and so the pastries were crawling with flies every morning. It was also very busy every day due to limited space, and there weren't a lot of options."

"We stayed at the resort for 11 days. We were upgraded to a premium room on the 6th floor. We requested for a king bed. Room was clean, with a balcony overlooking the golf course. Shuttle was readily available. I prefer the buggy cart as it goes through the golf course. Staff were courteous and greets you all the time. My partner got sick on the last day, and the service provided to us were second to none. The nurse was thorough. And when we requested for medical assistance, a doctor and nurse came to do a house call. They did the blood test, gave him IV fluids, provided medication. They visited him 2x that night. Excellent care was given to us.
The only complaint I would give is the food. Breakfast was so so, and not so many options. Food at the restaurant was also hit and miss. They also need to add wait staff as service can be a bit slow. Other than that, our stay at the resort was perfect."

"I've returned to Red Coco Inn de Boracay multiple times, and each visit is a delight! 😊 The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and cozy; it truly feels like coming home. It's very quiet and peaceful, allowing you to truly relax and unwind.
The hotel boasts a simply perfect location – right in the heart of the island at Station 2. Everything is within easy reach: the beach, cafes, shops, and places for evening strolls. "I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only downside was the breakfast, although on some days it was quite good. Eggs and coffee were always available, and the chicken and beef broths were absolutely amazing! Everything else was just excellent."

The food was exceptional across all the restaurants. We particularly loved the seafood at the Sirena Restaurant. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a wide variety of international and local options.

Sshyshy13They were nice, respectful, and helpful while we were still checked in but once we checked out, that hospitality completely disappeared. We got stranded in Boracay and had to check out right in the middle of a typhoon. Unfortunately, the staff refused to even lend my boyfriend an umbrella for a few minutes so we could safely get to our transport. To make things worse, I wasn’t feeling well and had started to develop a fever.
Let’s be honest, Hennan is not a budget hotel. You expect a certain level of service and compassion, even after you checked out especially in extreme weather conditions.
It was disappointing and frustrating to feel like the care and courtesy we received only applied while we were still paying guests. After checkout, it felt like we didn’t matter at all.
For the price you pay, I expected better treatment at the very least, a bit of kindness and understanding during such a difficult situation. Sadly, this experience left me feeling robbed and deeply disappointed.

JJervLocation wise, it’s near the beach. Just go to the opposite of the road and you can enjoy the white sand.
It is near also to other locations like renting e-bikes or near to a hop in hop out stop.
Downstairs, there is Andoks and near to it is a eatery called Kolai Mangyan in which their foods are affordable and tasty. Beside Kolai h is 7/11 so you really have variety of food stop if you’re on a budget trip.

Kk_fr_23We stayed in Movenpick for one whole week following the recommendation from a friend who stayed there twice already when she traveled to Boracay, and on the whole, we didn’t regret this choice either. We’ll share some positive things first, then negative. It was our first time to visit the island, and we knew that the White Beach area is always crowded, full of beggars and people offering you to go sailing or try out massage at their salon literally every five steps which is quite annoying. On the contrary, Movenpick is a quiet and secluded place where you can enjoy your vacations at the fullest. The prices in the resort restaurants are almost the same as in the White Beach cafes, maybe a little higher, but the food is way more delicious (we especially loved the dishes in Brezza). We didn’t expect it to be so good after reading some negative reviews on Ctrip, so it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was also amazing, with a variety of options and outstanding service (and they do have black coffee, so don’t trust those who mention that there is no coffee at the breakfast buffet). But what impressed us most was a very warm and friendly attitude of all staff to every single guest. They always approached us with a big smile, and after several days of staying, they could even remember our cocktail preferences at daily Happy Hour! Nice little sweet treats at Chocolate hour, live music from 6pm daily, plenty of space and activities offered at the resort - we loved it a lot. However, there are some tiny things you must know before booking. Half of the swimming pool might be closed for maintenance, which is totally understandable yet isn’t what you expect when choosing this hotel (neither it is convenient nor pleasant to see). Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, you can see they haven’t been renovated for a while (AC/fridge are quite noisy, some things like shower gel dispenser might get broken easily - but they can be replaced at once if you inform the hotel). Last, if you are unlucky with neighbours (especially if there’s a family with an infant in the room one floor above yours), then you might enjoy terrible noise all the day as the rooms are not soundproof. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, and only on the 3rd night we were offered a bigger room for sleeping overnight (but the AC was loud there, not to mention some weird sounds outside in the middle of the night - could be an electricity generator or something else - that woke us up and we had to move back to our main room with the hope that our neighbours were fast asleep). In a word, it is recommended to bring some earplugs and not hesitate to inform the receptionists about any problem you have at once and ask for an immediate solution.
Generally speaking, if we ever decide to return to Boracay for vacations, it’s highly likely we will choose Movenpick for the whole stay time again.

We recently stayed at Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay for 2 nights and had a wonderful overall experience. The property is beautiful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is also perfect for accessing the beach.
However, we feel the breakfast offering is an area that needs significant improvement and doesn't match the high standard of the rest of the hotel.
· Limited Variety: The selection was quite limited and remained almost exactly the same every day. After a few days, it became very repetitive.
· Food Temperature: The hot food items (e.g., sausages, bacon, steamed rice) were often lukewarm or cold, which was disappointing.
· Freshness: On a couple of mornings, the pastries and bread felt a bit stale, as if they were from the previous day.
· Local Flavors Missing: We were hoping for more authentic Filipino breakfast options (like garlic rice, different local sausages, or fresh tropical fruits beyond just watermelon and pineapple) to better experience the local cuisine.
This is a lovely hotel with so much going for it. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a few improvements to the breakfast would make this a truly 5-star experience. We would still consider staying again, mainly for the excellent service and fantastic facilities.
