"Breakfast was incredible - absolute highlight of the trip! Sat on the beach with the best view for brekkie! A fair way out from town but a beautiful stretch of beach! One of the nicest beach areas we saw and we walked along this section of the island a few times in our holiday there - excellent relaxing music & a good atmosphere with no children. Good & friendly service, nice and clean room, only negative was we struggled to find the entrance and had to wait for staff to check in. If you get rain be aware the roads get fairly waterlogged but you can just about navigate this."

"AWA is a very nice boutique hotel. There are some improvements to be done like the pool needs to be cleaned more often! The lighting in our room was very dark so when putting makeup on was a challenge. The food in the restaurant was ok except when the burnt my husband’s pizza. The employees were very friendly. The whole town is very dusty though! It is a long walk to Centro. So we always used the taxi. All in all i enjoyed my stay in AWA!"

"The hotel is well, looks relatively new and keeps it in good condition. The beaches are beautiful but it is a little isolated from the city center where restaurants and shops are, although it has a small shop quite slightly out there and a small mini-super a little farther. It has two trees but they are always cold, I don't know if they are tolerated in summer, we couldn't get into winter, children and Europeans did not have so much trouble. As an island, there is no medical service for delicate situations and the nearest is Cancún at two and a half hours on ferry and then on road to get ready. The staff is very friendly and service. The worst is the restaurant, food is generally bad, but the worst is breakfast, there are only horrible eggs that seem to make them with water, sauces, fries, chilaquiles and hotcakes. The juice is diluted with water and syrup (we saw it), it is the tail!!! as if they don't charge enough!!! The fatal sweet bread, the poor coffee and they don't serve it on the table. The food bells were always empty because we were too many guests and they were not awaiting. It's so bad that on the third day we decided to go to a neighboring hotel (and pay $1500 for 3 people) with an excellent buffet very abundant and excellent service, all the coffee we wanted and always served us at the table. There were eggs made, but you could also ask for a omelet with different extras at the moment, etc. Generally thousand times better. The tours that the hotel sells you do not make it clear you are not in season so that the bioluminescent is almost nothing and you have to be moving the water to see something and the one of the 3 islands you don't see a single pink flamenc. We're not going back to this hotel."

"The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. We were made the unforgettable stay and we will certainly return to it, but in all-included regime because the buffet of both food and dinner is very diverse and thematic. I am widely recommended!!!! "I liked the hotel very much because it is all wooden in Mexican style and with a very special and well-treated furniture. Unfortunately, however, even because of the sand streets, common areas are very dust, poorly clean and the pool full of leaves and insects. We have not been very satisfied with breakfast that is not a buffet, but you have to order in the menu where only 3 egg dishes and 1 fourth dishes with 2 pieces of bread and a marble pack. They bring you fruit and juice in a glass. If you still have hunger or thirst you can't do the bis and especially there's no variety that you expect in a breakfast in the hotel. The hotel has made us pay taxes that were not foreseen in the booking, as if taxes were raised here in Mexico without planning and increased daily."

"Room was nice, design is cute. Unfortunately really noisy depending on the room you get. There’s several bars nearby and some you can hear everything until 2 am. Some rooms are quieter though. Location is good if you like to go out. If not then you’re just in the epicenter of noise. Cleanliness was good but they never came to clean the rooms/fill up water/take the trash. Staff was nice and helpful."
