"I took bus 143 from Naha Bus Terminal to the American Village (it was the last stop for this bus, not sure where the actual last stop is) and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Since it was before check-in time, I waited in the lobby, where complimentary drinks and cookies were available. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us store our luggage first; the service was excellent. After checking in, we were given an upgraded room, much larger than what we had booked, which was fantastic! American Village at night is beautiful and definitely worth staying for a night."

"American Village was absolutely beautiful for Christmas! The welcome drink was delicious, and breakfast was decent. The hotel was lively, so it was a bit noisy at night, but earplugs did the trick. Service was good, and the location was even better – super convenient for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Plus, there's a bus back to Naha right next to the Hilton next door."

"The room has tatami mats, but it's very clean and well-designed, with an amazing view. Outside the window, there's a beach with palm trees and silhouettes of people, directly facing the sunset. The location is also great; right downstairs is a beach park, and it's not far to walk to American Village, passing by the ”Cat Path” along the coast, where there are many cats on the breakwater – perfect for sunset photos. A few hundred meters away, there's a large supermarket and an excellent set meal restaurant, possibly the best value-for-money restaurant in all of Okinawa. The stir-fried bitter melon with pork and luncheon meat, and the braised pork trotters were the best I've had in Okinawa. It was such a joy to watch the fireworks at American Village and then dine near the hotel. The only minor downsides are that the rooftop pool's opening hours (10 am to 6 pm) are too short, and the free bicycle rental requires you to return them by 8 pm, which meant we perfectly missed the weekend fireworks at American Village."

"The hotel is very close to American Village, within a 10-minute walk. We booked a family room, and the two-story design was perfect for a family with two kids – the little ones were absolutely thrilled! I was pleasantly surprised that the American lady at the front desk spoke perfect Japanese. The Japanese breakfast was also excellent, with everything you could want, and actually more enjoyable than the breakfast at the InterContinental where we stayed a few days prior. Free popsicles after 2 PM were another nice touch."

If you are a Singaporean, double confirm chop, you should drive. Our walking distance for far and near is very very different from the Japanese and Koreans, or most other countries. Due to our efficient public transport system, we are spoilt. We don't really walk that much, so conserve your energy for exploration and shopping, not walking. 😄
This hotel has staff that speaks excellent English, a refreshing change after a few days in Okinawa. They provide a simple free breakfast and have a separate showroom and WC. The shower room is really tiny. But the overall stay is very comfortable.
It's definitely worth a repeat booking."

"The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts."

"We had a fantastic stay in Chatan. The rooms are outdated as most of the hotels in the island but it is very comfortable, spacious and clean. We had to work as well and the internet worked perfectly. Nice balcony with distant sea view, wash machine and a safe were all a plus. It is very close to very nice restaurants and 15 walk to the bus station. We would have liked to stay longer but in the future will always be our place to stay :)"

"The Hotel is located next to Steakhouse, BBQ and Italian Restaurants and the Sunabe Wall dive site. If you arrive by bus the hotel is a 15min Walk away from the Bus stop of the Kadena US Military Base Entrance. They have free laundry and vending machines for food and drinks.
I had a nice stay. The room was small but tidy and I had views on city and ocean."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, in the first row with sea views. The rooms are very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, it still looks very good overall. Some of the furniture is a little old, but it does not affect the quality of the stay. The shower in particular is great. The hotel provides traditional breakfast, which we are a little uncomfortable with. Overall, the CP value is quite high and it will be included in the options for returning."

"Stayed for one night. The biggest advantage is that it is close to the American Village. You can see the sea directly from the balcony. You can see the entire American Village from the front door.
The disadvantage is that the price is not cheap during holidays, and it is a bit far from the beach. It is an old-fashioned hotel."

Amazing
FfathsBeautiful place! Staff were friendly and accommodating. First experience with a 5 star hotel and it was amazing! Situated right beside American Village and there were many places to just walk or cycle around and explore. Staff even helped with making a taxi booking since we had an early flight. Thank you Hilton for making the last lap of our Japan trip a memorable one!
Oh and breakfast buffet was good! Wished that the items changed around but not complaining since the food was of top quality!

於於1: Location: Entrance to the American Village, at the intersection of the four roads, downstairs is the bus stop, Rosen, the four seasons barbecue, diagonally opposite is the sushi, the opposite side of the road is the big house, McDonald's 2: There is a parking lot 3: Breakfast is delivered to the room, and there are quite a lot of things. 4: We are 3 big and 1 small, and the room we are assigned is 401. In one bedroom, there are two single beds, and the living room has a sofa bed. 5: The living room is large, the balcony is three, the bathroom is large, the toilet is very narrow, the bedroom has no windows, so it is very stuffy 6: The balcony is nice, the Ferris wheel is very clear 7: The waiters are also very good.

XXUHUAAlthough the hotel is leaning against the sea, the environment in the room is not very good! In fact, it is the general type of B&B! I have two small beds in the room of six or seven hundred, a little bigger! When I went there, I just caught up with the typhoon, and I also had a blackout! Later, the proprietress felt embarrassed and sent a 1,000 yen convenience store shopping voucher! At that time, there was another guy in the store who was a Taiwanese! Communicating a few words in Chinese! I really feel that this price is not worth it!
