Fine dining disappointing
Stayed here for the Akelaŕe a three star restaurant but while the service was brilliant, I left a bit disappointed with the food.
Very pushy on getting us out on the morning we were leaving, we were delayed due to having to wait for a table at breakfast. Rooms and view were excellent.

Un gran fin de semana. Estuvimos un fin de semana en invierno y otro en verano y fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. El hotel es espectacular, su situación inmejorable. La comida del restaurante soberbia. La piscina y el bar de la piscina de lo más agradable. Tengo pendiente volver otra vez. De los mejores hoteles del mundo.

Sitio maravilloso y acogedor!! Me lo habían recomendado unos amigos, pero las expectativas se superaron con creces!! Las habitaciones muy acogedoras y la cama muy cómoda. El desayuno muy variado y riquísimo !! Peto lo mejor, el personal, muy amable y atento. Te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en casa. Volveré !!!

Fin de semana sensacional en Arriluce, donde mezclan con muchísimo gusto la tradición de un palacio histórico con todas las comodidades actuales. El personal es muy profesional y atento. La habitación espectacular, con todos los detalles cuidados al máximo. Y mención especial merece el desayuno, muy top. Volveremos seguro en verano para poder disfrutar también del espacio de piscina!

Very warm welcome and staff are very helpfull and professionals . Location is lovely! Food and breakfast are excellent . Lovely room with comfortabel bed . Lovely spa and good services Great place to stay. We recommended the this lovely hotel when visisting Bilbao Jan & Jacqueline

We had an amazing stay at Palacio Hotel Arriluce! From the moment we arrived, Ainara welcomed us like long-lost friends and made sure we had everything we needed (and then some!). Her local tips were a brilliant —seriously, we wouldn’t have found half the hidden gems without her. The hotel itself is stunning. The room was gorgeous, the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the view? Let’s just say we considered never leaving. The food was fantastic—don’t miss the breakfast! We’re still dreaming about it. If you’re heading to Bilbao, you have to stay here. We’re already plotting our return!

Perfect in every way! Delicious food, view, accommodations, and service from all the staff. Highly recommended. Getxo is not well known among our circle but that’s about to change. A flight into Bilbao will get you easily to this paradise. Just GO!
