We stayed at Sanchal Fort, me, my husband and I, for our wedding anniversary and we were welcomed like kings! The hotel offers an ideal setting for a romantic stopover. The suites are very spacious and nicely decorated, the staff is very attentive and the hospitality is excellent. We feel at home. The hotel also offers getaways to meet artisans from Barmer. I highly recommend this hotel.

It is a very poor, badly maintained hotel. The rooms are musty & smelly, and there are pigeon droppings everywhere. The overall ambience is extremely poor, and the fort in the name is highly misleading.

Nice fort-styled resort on the outskirts of barmer. Definitely worth staying on your way to jaiselmer. Food is good. Breakfast is also good, but there is room for improvement. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

The property location is amazingly beautiful, as if a palace in sand dunes. Neighborhood of the hotel is very peaceful. The property is well maintained. Rooms were spacious, clean. Restaurant ambience was very charming and the food quality was good.

Sanchal fort is a beautiful palace like building in the mahabar sand dunes. Very tastefully designed, airy corridors, rooms with very high ceilings, all staff dressed in traditional ethnic dress, very courteous staff, very well maintained and clean premises. My stay here is the one of the best i have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Lush green lawns maintained in the compound right in the midst of desert. One can listen to the chirping of birds all day long. The resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very serene surroundings. Stay here is like staying in a palace.

Property is excellent. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and artistically decorated. Found food tasty at restaurant zaffran tasty. Lawns are well kept and lush green. Maintenance can be improved and prices are on higher side compared to other hotels in barmer.

Property was really nice, and staff was very humble. Overall good experience but they should really put more efforts on cleaning - there were way too many bugs and insects inside the room and bathroom.
