The location is close to Barceloneta, near El Raval where the area is not very posh but still I felt safe because it's close to the police station.
It is tucked away in a small alley so it's ultra quite. The aesthetics is nice, it feels like a chic resort by the beach, though obviously it's far from the beach. The rooms are nice, just enough space. The staff are amazing and friendly. Price is relatively high for what it is.

There is no refrigerator, the air conditioner did not work, because you had to sleep with the windows open - the barking of dogs did not let you sleep. When you take a shower, the whole room is filled with steam, since the shower is in the room. The washbasin is so small that there is splashes all around. The croissants for breakfast were overbaked. Overall the breakfast is delicious, the reception is friendly, the location is good.

Terrible service. Worst hotel experience ever. Front desk personnel was very rude and not accommodating at all.
Definitely never coming back and not recommending.
So many other nice options in Barcelona at similar cost.

The hotel is very nice, modern, the facilities are very good and the service was very good. Breakfast is abundant, varied and delicious. Unfortunately the hotel is located in a not very nice area of Barcelona, it appears to be unsafe but the reality is that nothing bad happened to us. If it has a very good location to walk around the city. It's really worth it for the price-quality.
