I chose this hotel because it was about a 10-minute walk from Sagrada Familia. Another criterion for choosing this hotel was that the front desk is open 24 hours a day.
I was relieved to find that there were staff members who could speak Japanese!
I also liked that the metro and supermarket were close by.

In the shower in the room it is impossible to shower. The sink is too narrow, you have to open the shower screen to get in and be able to close the sink door. Also, there is little water pressure and when you lean against the wall to get under the water you accidentally close the tap with your back. In other words, a juggling act. The corridor between the beds is also very narrow.

My first youth hostel experience was great! The front desk staff were very friendly and my roommates were very polite. It's about a ten-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, and not far from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló. There's also a great park nearby for watching the sunrise!
