Bubez is a large custom built guesthouse with excellent views over Barberton from several decks. The rooms are comfortable and clean. However, my room and several others had no sunlight whatsoever, they opened onto either a 15 m long blank corridor or an underground parking lot. Rooms with exterior windows existed, but were not provided to guests although the guesthouse was nearly empty. Very poor planning. Fire escape doors were locked on several floors.

This is more than a guest house. We loved the open outside area where we could have our meals overlooking the stunning views. The garden and rock formations are a lovely feature as well as the large pool and comfortable rooms.

We had a pleasant stay, although it was short as we arrived on Friday evening and left early on Saturday morning. Will definitely consider it next time we are around Barberton. Please consider having a microwave oven in the room.
