"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and the swimming pool easily became my favourite highlight during the trip. The pool area is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with crystal-clear water that feels refreshing at just the right temperature. "This hotel is just an average five-star. The pool facilities are quite good, but unfortunately, there are too many Chinese tour groups staying here, which spoils the nice environment. Breakfast is mediocre, almost entirely catering to Chinese tour groups. The lobby staff's service attitude isn't great. The rooms are quite large with balconies, which is comfortable, but breakfast is almost entirely taken over by Chinese tour groups, and it's extremely noisy."

"The room had a fantastic sea view, which was definitely the highlight of my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a short stay, although slippers were not included. The hotel is clearly an older property, but it has been well maintained and remains in good condition.
One of the standout features is the rooftop bar, which offers stunning views and is a great place to relax, especially around sunset.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, which was appreciated. However, the presentation could be improved, as the buffet did not look particularly appealing despite the selection available. "We really enjoyed our stay at Samsara Pattaya. We traveled as a couple and booked a room with a large king-size bed, which was very comfortable.
The food was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and included fruits, desserts, and main dishes. Every day the minibar was refilled with Coca-Cola, Sprite, soda water, and even a pack of M&M’s chocolate. We also appreciated the welcome drink and the welcome fruit plate — a very nice touch.
At the moment, the floors above the 8th are still being completed and furnished, but there was no noise at all during our stay. We stayed on the 5th floor and felt very comfortable.
The rooftop pool and gym are fantastic. At first, we had a room facing the road, and it was a bit noisy because of the motorcycles. However, the staff changed our room to the opposite side without any problems, and that completely solved the issue.
The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. The hotel is in a very convenient location — close to tuk-tuks, the pier, and the city center.
We definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was satisfactory, especially with its convenient access to the beach & nearby eating venues.
Please play with me cause I'm trying to be as honest as possible regarding this property. Here is a point by point form of what think are flaws:
1. In all honesty, this hotel needs a major revamp & I will probably not select this hotel in one of my future stays in Pattaya. There was major construction on the roadside as well as the construction of a condominium project. When I was making the booking we were not informed of this inconvenience at all, even upon checking there was no information given regarding the ongoing constructions
2. One of the amenities that attracted me to stay at this property was the elongated swimming pool with a unique slide. That slide into the pool was in operational two of the three days I was staying there.
And that's another thing about the pool
this hotel shares the on-site land space with a private condominium project and the residence share the pool with the hotel., another vital piece of information they failed to share when online bookings were being made.
3. We drove our car to the property and before arrival I did call up to check about parking availability. I was told that was approximately 30 to 40 parking lots available. To buy display there was less than 10 lots available and when we arrive approximately the 1:30 PM of check-in day, those luckily two spots still open.
On a more happy note The hotel staff working reception, Bell desk and the dining area were very polite and informative

"The front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room – big shout-out to Chris and Thanyah! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent; we even got complimentary drinks while checking in (they were so good!). The laundry service is paid, but our clothes came back smelling amazing and the scent lasted forever! The hotel is right on the beach, but you'll need a scooter or taxi to get to the city center. If you're staying here, I'd recommend bringing a shower head with a filter, as the water quality isn't the best. Everything else was perfect! We'd definitely stay here again next time."

GGuest UserJust got back from another stay at Somerset Pattaya, I keep coming back here honestly. Place is always clean, like really clean, you can tell the housekeeping team takes it seriously.
Location is great too, everything you need in Pattaya is close by so getting around wasn't a hassle at all.
Reception staff were super helpful the whole time, anything I needed they sorted out quickly, no complaints there.
Big shoutout to Chatchadopam from housekeeping, she cleaned my room every day and honestly went above and beyond. Small things like that make a stay so much better.
Room itself was spacious and comfortable, nothing felt old or worn out, everything worked fine.
Only thing, and it's not really a complaint, just wish the pool stayed open later than 8pm. Would've used it more in the evenings if it closed a bit later.
Anyway, another great stay, I'll keep booking here whenever I'm in Pattaya.

From the service and environment to the smallest details, everything was impressive. It's safe to say this has been one of the most satisfying resort choices in recent years.
**Service Experience: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming**
Even with a significant number of guests during Chinese New Year, the service team maintained incredibly high responsiveness and patience. From guiding us at check-in to attending to our daily needs, the staff consistently wore smiles and proactively offered help, allowing us to genuinely feel the meticulousness and warmth of Thai service. It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel also created a cozy festive atmosphere during Chinese New Year, making us feel at home even when abroad.
**Breakfast Experience: Exquisite, Diverse, and Daily Surprises**
Breakfast was a major highlight of our stay! Not only was there a rich variety, but the menu changed daily with hardly any repetition. From traditional Thai noodle soup and mango sticky rice to pastries, fresh fruit, and made-to-order omelets, the quality was consistently excellent. Staying for several days, we woke up every morning with anticipation, and our child absolutely loved it too.

* **Inside the Villa:** The two-bedroom layout offered expansive space, with a design that blended modern aesthetics with a resort feel. I particularly loved the living room area (as shown in Figures 1 & 2), where large glass windows brought natural light indoors. The pool and lush greenery were just outside the window, making dining or relaxing at the table feel incredibly open and uplifting. The decorative floral arrangements on the table, the exquisite chandeliers, and the wooden furniture all reflected the hotel's tasteful aesthetic.
* **Hotel Public Areas:** The path leading from the villa to the public areas (as shown in Figure 4) was surrounded by dense tropical plants, like a stroll through a tranquil rainforest, offering great privacy. The hotel entrance at night (as shown in Figure 3) had warm lighting and was shaded by trees, embodying both the relaxation of a resort and the serenity of home.
**Facilities and Details: Quality Online, Meeting All Family Needs**
The villa came with its own pool, and the water quality was excellent, allowing us to jump in and cool off anytime. The kitchen facilities were fully equipped, suitable for simple meal preparation. Overall, it was very well-maintained, with new furniture and bathroom fixtures, and meticulous hygiene. The two bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out, each with an independent bathroom, making it very convenient for families.
**Conclusion**
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort in Pattaya that doesn't prioritize sightseeing, The Gem Pool Villas is definitely recommendable. It might not be right on the busiest beach, but this tranquility, combined with attentive service, thoughtful breakfasts, and a beautiful environment, truly made for a perfect vacation. It's especially suited for families or two to three friends traveling together – sunbathing by the private pool, strolling along the green paths, and chatting late into warm, lit-up nights – that's what 'holiday vibes' are all about.

AAnonymous UserIt is a family woth kids hotel. Ideal for kids at all age group to come and enjoy their holiday. Food and drinks are on the expensive side though. The check in and check out counter needs improvement; too long waiting time and the attitude of the concierge is not on the positive side. All other staffs did their best at their duties to make sure guests enjoyed their stay. We love our suite rooms. But activities are focused inside the hotel only because should you leave the hotel with your car, you will immediately loose your parking spot and you will need to search for another that is a very far walk to the lobby or a very tight one. We can feel the effort of the hotel to manage the high volume crowd. All in all, the stay was a 5 star, our kid enjoyed so much we came more than once already.
Ps. Some food vouchers were given when booked directly from the hotel, but excluded when booked from Trip.com. We felt a bit let down by this.

The deluxe room features two beds (queen and single) and modern AC, plus large bathtub, working area, robes and large fridge
The pool is clean and well kept
The fitness is small and basic but well maintained and has free weights.
The location is good for those who want to be in Jomtien, close enough to the bars and beach and it’s not too noisy despite being close to a busy road
The most impressive thing about this hotel is the breakfast which is worth opting for. There’s a variety of hot and cold dishes that are changed every day. The hotel clearly prides itself on this

GGuest UserThe hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Welcome World Beach Resort & Spa in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, and I'd definitely recommend it.
The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach, just across a small street from the ocean. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The rooms are very spacious, and the twin beds are quite generous, about 1.25 meters wide each, so it didn't feel cramped even with two kids.
The public areas of the hotel are also pretty good. There are three swimming pools, which kept the kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Around the hotel, you'll find 7-Eleven, snack stalls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient.
Most of the guests here are Russian, with very few Chinese visitors. Consequently, the breakfast largely caters to Western tastes, which wasn't quite to my liking.
Overall, for the price, it's an excellent choice, especially for families with two children.

AAnonymous UserMy stay at Bay Beach Resort was overall okay, but there were several issues that affected my experience. The rooms were a bit dusty, which made them feel less clean than expected. Breakfast was average nothing particularly special but the restaurant itself was actually quite good for other meals.
One of the main challenges was the language barrier. I had difficulty understanding the front desk staff, and when I tried to request a few things, the miscommunication made the interaction come across as a bit rude and dismissive, even if that may not have been the intention.
I was also surprised to be charged a cleaning fee because some hair dye got onto a towel this is the first time I’ve experienced something like that at a hotel. Additionally, I asked for omelettes at breakfast and was told they weren’t available, yet I later saw another guest being served multiple omelettes, which was confusing and a bit frustrating.
Overall, the stay was just okay. There are some positives, like the restaurant, but improvements in cleanliness, communication, and consistency in service would make a big difference.

DDave_YuThe room was indeed spacious, but there were a lot of Indian guests.
The room had a balcony, but to my surprise, there was still trash left behind by the previous guest.
Breakfast options were limited, but there's a 7-Eleven right outside, so it wasn't a big deal.
I stayed on the top floor that day, and some areas on certain floors were dimly lit at night.

GGuest UserSpent four nights at Sunday JA Plus Hotel in a Premiere Deluxe Double and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable — exactly what I needed to unwind after long days out. The outdoor pool was a highlight, perfect for cooling off in the afternoon, and the spa and gym were great additions that made the stay feel like a proper getaway. Staff were warm and attentive throughout. Excellent value for the price, and I'd absolutely book again.
