"The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, just one subway stop away from both Hongdae and Myeongdong, which made getting around the city very easy. Right across the street from the hotel is a true food paradise, offering a wide variety of dining options. Every place we tried had excellent service, which really added to the overall experience. I also really enjoyed the view from the hotel, which made our stay even more pleasant and relaxing. The hotel service itself was outstanding. We arrived early in the morning, around 10 a.m., and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They allowed us to check in shortly after arrival without any extra fees or complications, which we truly appreciated after a long trip. Overall, the combination of location, nearby food options, great views, and exceptional service made this stay very enjoyable."

"The location was amazing, plenty of good food around and walkable distance to 2 stations. There's also 2 convenient stores nearby ＜5mins! The room was clean and just nice to store 2 luggages! Everything was clean and comfortable. There is also water, coffee machine, washer and dryer and instant noodle machine on every level too. 10/10 would definitely come back here to stay, the staffs here also speak good English and are super helpful!"

"We stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 3 days and 2 nights, and later booked another 2 days and 1 night after our staycation at Nami Island. • Front desk service: The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage during our Nami Island trip since we had another booking at the same hotel. • Room quality: The room was clean and spacious. However, I personally didn’t like the wooden floor—it felt a bit uncomfortable to walk on without room slippers. • Location: The hotel is centrally located in the city, within walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace, and close to several subway stations. • Food options nearby: Plenty of choices, from traditional Korean BBQ to fast food like Burger King. Just note that many restaurants close around 9–10 PM. ✨ Overall: A convenient city hotel with friendly staff, good service, and easy access to major attractions. The luggage storage service was especially helpful for our trip planning."

"This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Getting here from the airport was a breeze; the bus goes directly to the stop right below the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, close to all the attractions. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I noticed a wonderful scent. The front desk staff were incredibly polite, professional, warm, and very patient. The room was spotless, and the bedding was impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, being on a higher floor, the view was exceptional!"

"This Moxy hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's directly across from the Chinese Embassy, and just a few minutes' walk to Lotte Duty Free, Shinsegae Duty Free, and the main streets of Myeongdong. It feels very safe returning to the hotel late at night. The area is surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, and currency exchange offices, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel's decor is young and trendy, and the common areas are great for photos. However, the biggest drawback is how incredibly small the rooms are. I'd estimate they're less than 20 square meters; with two suitcases open, there's practically no room to walk, and you have to turn sideways to get through the aisles. It would be extremely cramped if you have large luggage or are staying as a couple. The bedding and cleanliness are decent, but the value for money primarily comes from the location. I'd recommend this hotel only for single-night stays, light travelers, or those who aren't sensitive to space. Families or those planning a longer stay should seriously reconsider."

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, there was a lovely scent that instantly lifted my mood. My flight arrived late at Incheon Airport, so I only reached the hotel quite late at night, but the staff were still available and helpful with the check-in process, which I really appreciated . The location is also very convenient, with IKEA, Lotte Mall, convenience stores, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There are also many bus stops around, making it easy to get around. The room itself was clean and comfortable, meeting my expectations. The only downside is that the hotel is quite far from Seoul city center, which may be inconvenient for some travelers. Overall, it was still a good and comfortable stay."

"The Koreana Hotel truly stands as a representative hotel in Korea, embodying understated luxury and elegance. It's nestled in the heart of Seoul, right next to Gwanghwamun Square and Cheonggyecheon Stream, offering stunning distant views of Namsan Mountain, especially beautiful at night. Opened in 1972, the Koreana Hotel played a significant role in international events, operating the main press center restaurant during the 1988 Seoul Olympics and later the Paralympics Athletes' Village restaurant. It has consistently served as an important hub for hosting international guests! We booked the Koreana Hotel this time because we had tickets for the Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Concert at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on Friday evening from 7-9 PM. ^u^ For check-in, you need to prepare your ID card or passport. We were given a fantastic room on the 15th floor with an unparalleled night view. We are truly grateful for the hotel's excellent care! Although the room is around 30 square meters, it actually felt like 50 square meters. The decor is luxurious French style, comfortable yet elegant, and perfectly quiet. I had expected it to be somewhat old, but it's incredibly well-maintained and renovated, and the TV even connects directly to YouTube – a clear sign of how the world is changing and hotels are continuously improving! The bedding was also excellent with a very comfortable mattress. For travelers, getting a good night's rest, relaxing completely, and waking up refreshed and energized for the next day is crucial, and we both slept wonderfully! The room came with an iPad for ordering room service and hotel amenities, allowing many tasks to be completed quietly, which I absolutely loved. The hotel's response was incredibly fast; service requests were delivered within 5-10 minutes! We ordered abalone porridge for breakfast, and it was delivered promptly 20 minutes after we scheduled the preparation time. One portion was more than enough for both an adult and a child, and we enjoyed it very much! Do note that the hotel does not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, facial cleanser, or combs – only soap! Other items are available in a paid amenity kit, so be aware when checking in. There are two bottles of complimentary water; it's more economical to purchase additional water at a convenience store."

"This is my 3rd stay in this hotel. The location is very good. The street store is just below the hotel. The room is big for a family of 4. The room is clean. Service is getting better and better. Just like this hotel. Will come back again for sure ☺️"
